Nice rescuing the baby owl. Best work you could have done today. Billy you should share that story with your boys, but also with Michael. He could make a new character for his paintings
It does not surprise me that Yanis has achieved 'star' status in your channel. He seems a nice bloke, hard worker, willing to learn and what's more adept at learning as his plastering skills blossomed. I really hope Alex gets his 5000 as I would love to learn more about Yanis, both young chaps deserve a bit of recognition.
I love how your dad grinned after his expletive, and Yannis looked at him. 😂 What I really love is how respectful Billy is of his dad. Welcome back Alex!!
OWL RESCUE!! 2 HEROES! I'm sure the Magical Moons will see this!! Perhaps someone could let them know?? Rescuing beautiful & special creatures is spreading.
Yay! He’s got more than 5K! Can Yannis please say “Let’s crack on” in French??? I’m so glad you’re going to do an interview with him, how cool!! ❤ The owl was adorable and I’m glad you got him out of the drain as well.😊❤
I feel like Yanis is 1 of my great nephews, progressing SO quickly from 100% apprentice to 100% skilled craftsman!!! PLEASE tell Yanis that an old lady in Southern California is glowing with pride.
I just rescued a Yellow Billed Cuckoo bird who was injured. I took him to the ASPCA as they have facilities for wildlife. Thank you for rescuing that owl! You made us very happy!
Yannis!! Alex!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I hope this means 20 minute videos instead of 10. Not that we don’t appreciate all your hard work Billy, but you’ve a lot on your plate ❤
Welcome Home Alex, you were missed. Now the Library gallery will go so much faster. I love that little owl- so relaxed in Yannis hand and I think he likes Yannis. Well with Owls around you don't have to worry about gnats or mosquitos or mice all that much. That is what they feed on. Take care and stay safe guys !
I liked the idea of a coffered ceiling but agree also that just using the wood you already have makes more sense. maybe put a little carving or painting on the beams?
You sure did hit the jackpot with Yanis, he is an amazing worker! Hard to find such hard workers these days!! Have to say Billy i absolutely love your channel and look forward to each and every episode!! Love from Wisconsin USA..
That owl was so cute and Yanis again says yes to everything, I just love it. I am still laughing when Billy's dad said a not so nice word, lol. Alex is back, Billy has helped a lot of people to increase there you tube channe subscribers, thats so nice.
I believe they are called burrowing owls, they don't get very big and they burrow to nest. Normally they burrow by tree roots but a convent is perfect ❤
yay!! nice to see Alex back! and the owl rescue attempts with Yannis was so lovely... glad you guys managed to get it out of the drain - what a cutie he was too!
Glad you're back, Alex! You rate pretty high to have Billy, daddy Petherick and Yanis stop everything to clean up the office for you. 🥰 The little owl was so adorable, so was the photo of Earnest. 💕
Almost looks like a Saw-Whet owll but they are native to North America. They are little and look like a screech owl wiithout ear tufts. Saw-Whet owls make little flute-like hoots at night. So nice to see how you guys care about the animals. ❤🦉
Alex the Cameraman was suggested to me this morning in suggestions. I watched the video's there during breakfast and think it is going to be another interesting channel to keep tabs on. I took a look and subs jumped over 1,000 since this AM so it looks like many agree.
So if you ask me, I would say that this bird may be a young animal, but it is already fledged. His plumage no longer looks like that of a nestling ... I think that is more of a full -grown bird ... a dwarf ear owl, they don't get bigger than 20cm and are also native to France ... but only in summer. They hibernate in Africa.
That is a Eurasian pygmy owl and its not a baby it's a full grown adult. They are very small owls. Look at the feet full grown owl . It's very cute! Owls in France: Clay owls Long-eared owls Tawny owls Eurasian eagle owls Eurasian scops-owls Snowy owls Eurasian pygmy-owl
That looks like a ground owl from America. They live in burrows and run around catching mice and rats. It might have a nest in there and have kept the convent clear of mice and rats.
Welcome back Alex-looking forward to watching your videos. Question for Yanis: What got you interested in learning about renovation and what do you enjoy most about it?
Second year another bird! Last year a baby crow this year an Owl! Yanis is a kind soul great with kids and creatures great and small, not just a fantastic worker and learning new skills!
Very cute owl. A few years back we had an adult and 2 teen great horned owls living in our back yard. Fascinating animals. Yours looks like what we call a burrowing owl here in Canada. They are small and burrow into the ground.
Glad you changed your mind about the downstairs ceiling. Also, that gallery is SO overengineered, it's awesome. You'll be able to have a LOT of people up there without worry of collapse. I can't wait to one day walk on it.
As you were doing your introduction, I realized that you probably do the same thing as I do, and that is to process ideas externally. Some people process their thinking internally, which means a person should take what they say as their final decision, whereas, those of us who process externally are always bouncing ideas off others before making a decision. For us, people should take the last thing we say as our decision. If you know how a person processes information and ideas, you will not be frustrated when some of us change our minds (sometimes very often).
Oh, so many questions I have for Yannis!!! Where is he from, how old, interests outside of building work, info about his family, favorite foods and how he met the Pethericks! Inquiring minds from Illinois, USA want to know!😂
As a Bird Nerd I really appreciate the Owl Rescue. Yannis obviously has a connection with animals, the Owl was so calm in his hands. Just subbed to Alex's channel, looks like he will have to do that interview with our Yannis.
Well done Yanis and Billy. Love the reference to Steve Irwin as I'm an Australian. Crikey Yanis you both did a great thing. The floor has come on so well. Can't wait to see how it will look once it's finished. Thank you for sharing all you do.
Well done to you, Billy, for making great videos and putting off your other work! It is so NICE to see Alex back, and that he is excited to be there too! 🤩🙏 Great job for rescuing the owl ❤️
Moving right along! I'm thrilled to see any kind of ceiling for the library. You are allowed to change your mind. The reuse of the beams is brilliant. YES! I would love to know a little more about Yanis. I feel bad saying that but he's become such a huge part of this channel and the mystery is too much not to want to find out more!!! Have a great week!
I have to echo what several others have said--really enjoyed the music today. I always appreciate that you cover the harsh sounds of the saws and drills with something nicer. It makes listening with headphones much more pleasant.
The owl is not a baby owl it’s a little owl - Athene noctua - maybe not a typical place to live in a piping system. Normally they live in tree holes or in caves in ruins or as in your case in the rain piping system. Be happy to have such as inhabitants
