Very sorry for your loss. I lost my mom last November. Was certainly eye opening seeing things from the other side as a reseller… My mom was a big thrifter and a proverbial clothes hoarder, lol. We donated a lot but my aunt gave me a bunch of clothes she said she thought I could sell but I’ve honestly not had the heart go through any of them yet…

My Mom passed away last year and the task of cleaning out her house and getting ready to sell fell to me, as much as I tried I could not get anyone else in the family to help me. I ended up donating a LOT of stuff just because I did not have the head space or physical space to deal with it all, luckily my Mom was pretty minimalistic and there was not much junk. It was still an emotionally difficult job and looking back I can see that I had blinders on and just put my head down and plowed through it. I'm sure your family will appreciate your thoughtful approach to helping everyone process the loss.
