Bf1 is truly Dice's Magnum Opus. Its an amazing game. The level designs and music really nail the atmosphere of ww1.

One of the core reasons why Operations is my all time favorite BF mode is because on some rare occasions, before the match starts, the generals for each armies would give their war speech in their respective side's language and later when everyone is charging forward, the soilders scream out of their lungs with the music playing in the background. THIS is what you call immersion and realism of actually being on the battlefield (BF5 and BF2042 could learn something). Not only is it cool but also motivating to actually win for your team (or empire in game if u know what I mean).

Still play a few hours every weekend. I love this game.

Playing BF1 is something else man. It was my first BF game, and easily my fav FPS of all time

Amiens is still a masterpiece of a map, and the cqb in this game is next level

The sound design in this game is truly… *Chefs kiss*

Love the detail of how the top doors get blown open everytime you shoot... And how the shell gets thrown out by the driver after every shot... Such a great game!!!

That was the peak no doubt, the most immersive, detailed, years crafted mechanichs, beautiful battlefield ever, map quality, mechanichs, weapons, sound, everything maxed.

I got heavy nostalgia vibes off that thumbnail 😂

One thing that I would like to point out is the implementation of an instrumental version of Kenny Loggins's Danger Zone during the plane section. I really appreciate that.

I love the amount of detail in this game! Little things like the Putilov Garford's shells being disposed manually, a sniper closing one eye when aiming with the scope... It's small things like these that make alot of the game so great imo!

I was defending the Austrian - Hungarian Empire in this particular map. I experienced one of the most intense and awesome moments in my entire life. We defended Point A for so long, losing it and retaking it at the last moment. Starting again, waiting the enemy to charge, getting into position and firing those LMGs. Gas, bombs, shells, bullets, death. It was truly the most immersive experience I've had in any game (PlanetSide 2 might be there as well). We eventually lost the point but ultimately won at the last Sector with the same way.

I love the little detail of the gunner tossing the spent casing out of the turret hatch after each shot.

I hear the subtle AC7 mix of Danger Zone in the background during the Attack Plane sequence.. AWESOME

Attention to detail is that when Putilov Garford is shooting, the hatch on the top open and eject the shell out. Pretty nice touch.
