Impressive how he mastered the start for beijing just a year after his first 100m race, some guys cant get it together their entire carrer

This is why Bolt's 9.58 is so legendary and unlikely to be broken by anyone currently competing in the 100m.

Do you follow the competitions or athletes? There are a couple of pro sprinters that are heavily expected to beat bolt's record when they peak. Wouldnt exactly say its unlikely

@@hnorth5205 Lol like who ? Coleman has a rocket start but no speed endurance. Lyles has great speed endurance but a most of the time rubbish start. Not a single of the current top 100m sprinters has run faster than 9.75 in the 100m. In fact not a single sprinter has run sub 9.7 since 2012. The only person still competing that has managed a sub 9.7 sprint in the past is Yohan Blake but he is well past his best and ran his pb in 2012 some 11 years ago, never mind that only 3 people in history have ever gone sub 9.7. Coleman the 2019 100m world has never run faster than 9.76 Jacobs the 2021 Olympic 100m champ has never run faster than a 9.80 Kerley the 2022 100m world champ has never run faster than a 9.76 Noah Lyles the current fastest 200m sprinter in the world has never run faster than a 9.86 in the 100m If you actually believe that any of them have what it takes to run a 9.58 or quicker, I question how much you actually know about track and field, because NONE of these guys have shot!

@TH-cx2yx
@TH-cx2yx 11 месяцев назад
@@joelnyangweso6542 He had an amazing start for his height, which had him compete with even the fastest starters very early in the race. which is why he was so dominant, because if you cant even run away from bolt at the start, you sure as hell aint gonna run away from him later in the race. Look at his world record and you will see that he has a clear lead even after 30 meters, while running against maybe the fastest starter ever in asafa powell

I think in the force - velocity graph you have the notations switched. Since you mentioned that Su has higher force at 12 and it decreases more with velocity increase, meaning steeper decline, I assume that Su is the red line and bolt is the green line ?

I love your presentations. I'm really a student of this stuff. I've known for years that Bolt's true genius was his drive phase, not his famous finish. How in the hell did he do it? You almost never saw a long-legger performing so well in the early part of a 100. I've seen a tiny amount of freakish exceptions, but they were not the top runners. One has to be at least a little skeptical . .
@henrybrowne7248
@henrybrowne7248 Год назад
OH . . you answered by showing Bolt versus Gay in the early drive. I can see it. I already knew that was where Bolt beat Gay in WC 2009 but now I know how.
