The Parasitic Twin in Malignant is dumb for several reasons, the first being hes not even technically a parasitic twin. That means the doctor is really just a complete tool. But apart from that, this ultimately means that this creature would need to develop ways in order to talk to other humans. Which somehow it does. In summary, why did this get requested to cover??

Well if you want to learn about electricity, I could inform you of a method that I have conceived earlier today that theoretically if it is not disturbed by anything like a meteor or a saboteur from a government that is opposing the government that had it built, it should work fine. The thing that even got me on this was because it is said that it is fundamental that matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed right? Wrong, while I do not dispute that neither can be destroyed, in order for something to exist something has to have made it, and the past has to be independent if we acknowledge that in order for something to occur one or more things in the past must happen beforehand. So another words there is no definitive starting point and even if there was we can ask what came before that, or what let this happen, or why did it happen. So in order for there to be energy there must be a way to create it and the same applies for matter, if matter can be created than this can be converted into energy which is already confirmed to happen. And so this got me thinking on ways to make it, I found out that magnets do lose their magnetism because of heat causing vibrations that disrupts the magnetic field, I got onto magnets that work in super low temperatures and then went up to absolute zero with the idea, this it's not it. Instead you take advantage of gravity, the gravitational pull between two spheres would be equal going in and going out of the Zone where they both pull so your speed going out ends up being the same as when you go in, but if you have a varying density there for causing of the gravity to not just pull in the one section of either a straight line that you straight relative to the orbit of the object going through this system or use a cone or a triangular prism. These would have to be straight relative to it, and it would be a lot easier to just give it the curve that makes it relative to the orbit instead of accounting for the slight curvature that would eventually destroy the system by either adding more material or making it more dense and two particular places, and by doing this you might disrupt the gravity in a negative light which just occurred to me as I was making this reply. And by making the density greatest act where it ends and having these straight lines that are straight relative to the object or by using either a cone or a rectangular prism known as a pyramid, the gravitational pool at the end would be more intense when you get close to it, it would also have to have more gravity than any of the other stuff in order for this to work, because when you went into this system the less gravitationally extreme forces were what initially pulled you in, they are now farther away, therefore their pool on you is significantly less, therefore the only real pulled out of fixed you very much is to pull that happens from the end piece. And because this more gravitationally intense force will be affecting you at the entire duration of this process you will be getting pulled where you increase your velocity as well as being pulled when you lower it but because the rest of the gravity pulling down on you is so weak wrote to where you are you end up gaining speed. Gravity does not deplete, however the what is basically a replica of the Earth's molten core will deplete its gravitational pull when it no longer has a temperature that is fluctuating and is now equal. The magnetism will stop, also to avoid the cooling even further you would need something with a significant enough gravitational pull that it moves the cold stuff towards the bottom, and you avoid this cooling even more than necessary there would be no crust covering it or anything similar. And the kinetic energy from this subject that was accelerated in the previously mentioned scenario will then impact this colder molten material, because the kinetic energy will be converted into heat and it will also be moving around the insides it will basically reboot the magnet, do this for five other magnets oh, it would be a whole lot easier and quite possibly to a civilization trying to set this up more economical. Have you seen the video where a guy has six magnets and he puts the three magnets on a rotating thing and it makes it rotating with his other three magnets? Think of that here except we can restart these magnets because these magnets are being fueled by the movement of molten metal oh, the molten metal iron in the Earth's mantle is why we have the magnetic field, without it Earth would be screwed in regards to the life it has and just the planet being more harsh as the temperature would be higher and there would be a lot more vapor. These magnets once they are jump-started will get this spinning thing too spin, you could use it to convert the motion into what could fuel a bunch of those are SpongeBob print Shake powered flashlight that children had in like the early 2000s or something. This would possibly be able to get its electricity siphoned off by connecting wires to where otherwise there would be filmon connecting the two places that the electricity would flow, or you could use it to spin the blades of a wind turbine or turn the water of the lake that's having its energy harvesting for hydropower, or use it to power a giant hammer thing that will smash and entire planet into pieces so that the civilization on a different planet going to have the necessary space for their ambitious project. And because all of the methods that are being used for this are technically possible if you get really precise with how you set it up, assuming that you would of course get enough speed from the subject, also the void of space while you may think it is cold there is nothing that will absorb your heat therefore nothing will be cooling down this molten core besides the natural equalisation of the temperature within it. And also is you're talking about it's super strength perhaps it has the muscles of an insect and has its muscle fiber density at the maximum possible density and on top of this always has a journaling course through its veins whenever it's using these muscles to do such incredible feets because it can't control it at will like the Iceman.
@assfuckerthejointpounder5834
@assfuckerthejointpounder5834 2 года назад
If Gabriel allowed Madison to see whatever Gabriel wanted while Gabriel is in control there is no telling how much Gabriel has been doing strength training, the kind of training where he stimulates his muscles to get more muscle fibers instead of getting bigger by swelling in response to the damage that was taken. And Lexington apparently build muscle, and because flexing is the exertion of the muscle it makes sense, and also if you were to move all the muscles in let's use the example of your elbow movement, if all of them move in the direction to open the elbow and they do it as hard as they can this could potentially be equal to lifting heavy weights, at least in the standpoint of what the muscles are doing, the muscles are doing the movement that would open the elbow like when you lift weight upward, and if they use the same exertion of the muscle in terms of however much force is applied, however Gabriel in the body of the main character were to be doing this in a controlled manner so to speak, this would stimulate the body just for muscle density because no or at least only a couple small portions of the muscle would be damaged and therefore swell to better take this damage. Also female must Solis more resilient when it comes to long-term exertion than a male, so basically a woman can last longer doing a certain task that exerts the muscles than a man doing the same tasks assuming that their muscles have been put through the same exertion through their life whether they be living the average life or they be people who are exercising for fitness, something tells me that because of this additional resilience it would be a lot easier to get the muscle density build up quicker, and maybe because he can make her see what he wants her to see he could make her see something that makes her feel scared, this would then allow for a journaling to be coursing through the veins and therefore further increased the amount of force that these muscles are exerting.

Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

This seems like a case where a paranormal explanation probably would make things a whole lot easier to swallow. Maybe Gabriel manifests biologically, but is still an angry spirit of a dead conjoined twin willing himself alive within Madison/Emily's body. Outside of her body, he can only affect electrical devices, but within it he begins growing himself out of her and using her body.
@Alovon
@Alovon 2 года назад
Yeah honestly think that is reasonable. It also likely explains how he could manipulate the Stem Cells of the babies, and the stuff in the beginning which should very much be a ghost. Gabriel after the initial surgery was all intents and purposes dead, but because Madison/Emily was still young when the surgery happened, his vengeful spirit started trying to use stem-cells to reconstitute himself, thus explaining the breif periods of control he had when they were kids. But once Madison's brain developed too a grand enough extent, it starved Gabriel's partially restored brain out of resources, locking Gabriel out of controlling her until she got pregnant. Once she was pregnant and could use the Stem Cells of her kid it allowed him to further reconstitute himself.

yall, having the same thought as your sibling is not the same as a neurological link that allows you to LITERALLY share thoughts. my brother and i "share thoughts" like this all the time, but that's because we were raised in the same home and have similar brains. same with all genetic siblings raised together (im sure theres an exception to this but i cant think of one off the top of my head). iirc roanoke said once that theres apparently some faint evidence, but evidence nonetheless, that twins might share some sort of telepathic link or something, but i havent heard anything about that since im a physics boi not a bio boi like roanoke. nevertheless, i dont think it's a stretch to say that the vast majority of siblings and twins do not share this telepathic link, rather they just so happen to think in the same way due to their close relationship and similar upbringing. i will say though that my brother and i had very different upbringings in a few key ways, which does lead to us disagreeing on certain things; however, the majority of the time we are on the exact same wavelength

@thebeardedatheist

@@_NutcasE_ True it is misleading as that is most people's initial thought until the twist but if you have ever watched someone get off of a chair that has been worn into over the years some materials do take longer to bounce back. My dad had an armchair that was 9 years old. He was able to get up, get some ice and a diet coke and sit back down and the depression was still inflating back to what it was before he would sit in it for the day. My family used to sit around and laugh about it. Long story short, once the twist is revealed the depression only makes sense in the context that he is either fast enough to get off of the couch before the couch recovers fully or the couch is old and has been sat in that so long that it lost its springiness it once had. The reason I know it's not the second one is because the couch looks new like everything in the house does as well.

This movie should have ended after the husband died. While she was in the hospital the doctors would have examined her. In doing so they would have discovered the wound on the back of her head that was caused by the husband earlier. They would have upon further inspection, most likely with a x-ray, noticed Gabriel. They also would have noticed the trauma to her baby inside her stomach since they had to remove it. And given she has a history of miscarriages and an abusive Husband, there was probably some record in the hospital of her previous pregnancies'. As far as the crime scene goes, The police would have noticed the blood on the wall/pillow and did a DNA swab on it and concluded it was hers. There were no signs of a break in, so the only people in the house would have been the two of them. She would then be the prime suspect of a domestic violence case immediately and therefore not allowed to leave the hospital freely. But then of course Gabriel would have gone on a killing spree, which really begs the question of why Gabriel needed the "Excellence" knife when it was demonstrated in the jail cell that he's physically capable of punching holes through people.

But the husband died in a different room and while she was injured in the bedroom, let's not forget that this movie makes no sense so can we just settle on the police being bad at their job? @@dweebicusmaximus the parents can refuse to let the twins be separated but run the risk of both dying, especially if they’re using the same organs. If there’s only one heart or kidney for both twins, that’s a death sentence. The overworked heart can’t continue to function & both WILL die in that case & often live only a few months. Now if there are two hearts, at least two lungs & at least two functioning kidneys, and separate brains they have a better chance of surviving, even if that means only one arm/leg apiece. A liver can be separated & shared; it regenerates to a point. Bladders can be reconstructed or removed. Intestines & ureters can be rerouted. Maybe one ovary for each but maybe no uterus for either. Surgeons still can’t separate brains without causing brain damage/death & spinal cords are tricky, too. It completely depends on WHERE they are joined. It’s a shitty situation for parents & doctors who have to make the decisions to choose to maybe lose one to save the other or lose them both. Animals don’t worry about this. There is yet another form of parasitic twin that's even more rare, when they start fusing early enough in the gestation, neither twin stops developing and neither becomes outright dominant, instead they begin to grow as a single organism, this is called chimerism and is basically a single person with 2 separate sets of DNA, it can happen along the bilateral axis, or it can happen on a system-by-system basis (IE circulatory system is one twin, digestive is the other, etc)
@richt7525
@richt7525 2 года назад
What's interesting is it may not even be all that rare. They're rarely found, for sure, because why on earth would anyone test for that without good reason? Like that poor woman with chimerism who failed the genetic testing to prove her children were, in fact, hers, because her Uterus and all had different DNA from where they took the sample. Ultimately, though, any one of us could have the same condition and likely never even find out. Chimerism, and the inability to know how prevalent it is weighs heavily on my mind when it comes to things like criminal investigations. Maybe it isn't likely to let someone go because their hair and sperm or whatever have different DNA, but it certainly isn't impossible. People put too much faith into genetic testing, IMO.

I'm thinking maybe the intention with certain abilities is that Gabriel, essentially utilizing the mind power of the equivalent of a brain and a half, had unlocked psychokinetic abilities, or some other extra sensory powers. The ability to tap into radios (or make others think they were hearing him through a radio), the electromagnetic disturbances, the ability to destroy fragile objects with emotional outbursts, and the heightened motor responses and reflexes. These are common tropes for psychic powers (as well as spectral phenomena). I suspect they were going for this angle with Gabriel's abilities.

No, that's a parasitic twin, also known as an asymmetrical or unequal conjoined twin; they're defined as parasitic because they are wholly dependent on the more developed twin for life support. It's not unprecedented to remove a conscious one, either. Manar Maged was born conjoined at the head to a parasitic twin (craniopagus parasiticus). Her sister had a fully-formed head and an independently-functioning brain (she could blink and smile!), but didn't develop a full torso with functional organs. Manar's heart started to fail from having to work for two, and ultimately the hard decision was made to separate them, killing one to save the other instead of losing both. They named the undeveloped twin Islaam and buried her as they would a fully-formed child. Unfortunately, Manar died of a brain infection shortly before her second birthday.

So how did Gabe handle his previous “appearances”? Unless he did everything by looking thru Maddie’s eyes, he had to have pushed the skull fragment back onto his face, secured it so it wouldn’t accidentally fall off, rearranged the hair to cover the bald spot, washed off all the blood, then move into position so she’s none the wiser. Oh, and pour disinfectant directly onto his exposed face so the two of them don’t immediately die from infection. Rip eyes.

Honestly I love these videos, not even just for me science, but the movie summaries, I like horror and scary movies, but at the same time my heart can't handle it lol. So I like the summaries as I can enjoy the stories and plot points without the stress, and for the movies that I think are super interesting. I watch em on my own, with Disney movies ready to go afterwards lol

If I remember correctly, the only reason electric eels can do their stun shock is 2 things. A, they are in water and water carries electricity much much better than air. B, they have enormous amount of the cells that generate the shock in proportion to their overall size. If you want a great reference for how much it would take to push even a small field through air, Matt Pat over at Game Theory did a video on pekachu years ago and did all the crazy math.

There were a bunch of sequences in this movie that I absolutely loved. The way reality shifted around her when she was experiencing something while Gabriel was on control of her body, that scene where he's running from the building and because the (shared) body is moving in reverse it looks kinda trippy, the entire thing at the police station (totally ott but absolutely amazing)

Hahaha.

The trailer for this movie gave me the impression it was a supernatural horror and that the protagonist was being haunted by a demon or something. After watching your summary, i gotta say good on that marketing team for recognising that they could make the film seem less stupid by implying the monster was a ghost rather the truth.
@jeffreycarey1680
@jeffreycarey1680 2 года назад
I feel like a lot of people think Gabriel's concept is "stupid" because of the context he's presented in (fake-out ghost story in the first half, crime thriller in the second). If he was an SCP nobody would bat an eye at his abilities not making sense.

i kinda wanna see the xenomorph from the alien franchise being looked at, this includes the facehugger, chestburster, queen, dog, etc from the entirety of the franchise
@TheKain202
@TheKain202 2 года назад
Pretty sure, in its most basic state - it's a retrovirus. It rewrites the DNA of the victim at the point of contact and makes it grow out a chestburster, combining the material from the retrovirus and the host - the thing, at least in the first movie - has a literal human skull underneath the semitransparent dome and is referred to a few times as "Kane's Son". It's rock solid in regards to the original movie, where the adult Alien takes its victims alive to transform them into more eggs to restart the cycle. Cameron's introduction of the queen complicates things, turning them convoluted.
@richt7525
@richt7525 2 года назад
@@TheKain202 Pretty sure it's simply able to undergo some alternate sexual reproduction- like method with any cells it has access to, even if they aren't sex cells. The biggest distinction there being that Xenomorph reproduction has an almost 100% success rate in whatever method we see going on. If it were viral then there'd be some degree of failure, because immune system and what have you. Besides, it seems to intelligently decide somehow which genetic differences it will take on from its hosts, when the crazy dude who voiced Chucky isn't mucking about with the process anyway, because Ripley VIII's baby was.... unfortunate. A virus would just mix things up randomly, I think, and that would be terribly inefficient and a bad idea, unless you work for Umbrella Corp. Also, no Xenomorph has ever taken a victim and transformed it into an egg, barring the one deleted scene that was deleted for a reason and even then only implied it. The cycle is queen lays egg, egg lays dormant until someone stupid enough goes near it, then the face-hugger emerges and utilizes stealth to impregnate said idiot, baby is THEN formed and grows until it violently emerges, and from there is where things get most interesting to me. I, too, would love to see Roanoke tackle this subject because the varieties of chestbursters are fascinating to me. They obviously are impacted by the host at this point, but even after that, like ants, they take many different specialized forms. How, exactly, are these decisions made? We know the Queen has a hive mind like effect with her colony, is she somehow influencing genotype expressions, or what?
