This Week in Sportsball: NFL Week Fifteen Edition (2022) 

Franco Harris single-handedly brought the city of Pittsburgh back from the dead. He was one of the greatest running backs of all time in every way possible, and the Steel Curtain era would not have existed without him. His contributions to the Steelers and the NFL community as a whole will never be forgotten. Can’t believe he passed only a few days before his jersey retirement. May he rest in peace.

This has probably been the most anticipated episode of sportsball in a long time

In loving memory of our friend Franco Harris A Steelers Legend, hero, father, brother, grandfather. He was one of the giants of one of Pittsburgh’s greatest eras, and forever known for the Immaculate Reception: arguably the greatest play in NFL history. We shall miss him dearly.

As soon as I had heard of (Matt Ryan and) the Colts' meltdown against the Vikings, my first thought was _"I can't WAIT for this week's Sportsball"_ 💀

15 straight weeks and "Hot Pockets" still gets me every time.

Mom and I are diehard cheeseheads, but when my mom was growing up her first football hero was Franco Harris, she was even talking about him Monday night. The impact that man made will forever be felt in this world, God Bless Franco Harris.

RIP Franco Harris; a true Pittsburgh legend. Hope his family and Steeler fans find comfort and peace.

The craziest part about the Immaculate Reception: it didn't happen in a SB year, as Pittsburgh fell to Miami the following week. That said, that play *was* the impetus for things to come ... 4 SB victories and one of the great NFL 'dynasties'.
