Almost underselling just how much Taylor Hall dragged the Devils in 2017-18. He had 93 points, nobody else on his team had more than 52. He was 6th in the league in scoring but no player that year came close to being as much of a reason for his team's success as Hall was for that otherwise mediocre Devils team. And man reflecting on that 2021 Habs is so bittersweet. That team gave everything they had for a chance for lord Stanley and Weber and Price would never be the same after, that run effectively ended their careers.

Ekholm and Subban were an elite shutdown pair during the preds 2017 cup run. Preds absolutely do not make it there without their excellent play! The subban/weber trade hurt so bad though, as a preds fan. I remember where i was standing when it happened. Weber should have been a pred forever.

Shea Weber was fucking unbelievable in both cities, love and miss him in Nashville. Happy he made the HoF, but I'm not really sure he should be in considering he doesn't have a Norris or Cup.
