A long overdue Thank you! for your channel, Diane! I became ill unexpectedly in October and have used your application of the Flylady daily, weekly, zones and even the Holiday Control Journal to give my days structure as I mend. As a bonus, I'm learning a lot about Sweden and Denmark- two lovely countries far from Texas. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing heart ❤️!

DD14 made yummy chili. The family enjoyed it. Making warm soups during the winter months helps with getting through the cold. Meals are all planned. Thank you for continuing to help us stay on track.

Nostalgi! The Danish food! Love it! I'm so happy I've learned menu planning. Thanks a lot! I use small transparent post-it notes for my menu plan, easy to move in my calendar. I struggled in and out in The Fly Lady concept for many years, approx a year ago I began to follow you. The best Cheerleader! And I'm so happy I found DYT, thanks again! Your outfits are a great inspiration! You always look lovely. Here in Bohuslän we got a sunny afternoon, did you see the sun in Copenhagen today?

Thanks! I got these earrings at one of our Clothes Swap parties...they are much bigger than I usually wear but I'm trying to push my boundaries a bit! LOL!

Off to the gym, then later the tree purchase. Two health appointments for us on the calendar for next week. We are shopping from our pantry and freezer for meals. Chili, Ravioli, Bacon and shallot quiche, , and easy breakfast for dinner are in the meal plan for this week. Good blue for you! I will be substitute teaching a bit, and am very anxious about working again.P.S. Did get tree and will spray with antidessicant and let dry. Sitting now in a bucket of water in garage that is kept above freezing.Tomorrow, a training then will be free to decorate after gym. We just do a bit at a time, so it does not seem like work, then reverse the slow process after Christmas. I am planning January , to help me beat the January blahs!

Today I made Diet Soup (basically a vegetable soup mostly with low-starch vegetables) because I gained 5 pounds over Thanksgiving and my annual checkup is next week. Yikes!

@@strll3048 Thanks! The recipe makes enough to last about 3 days. Evidently, it takes more energy to digest it than there are calories in the soup, so I'm supposed to lose about 5 pounds in a week. I hope so!

Menu planning used to be fairly easy until my toddler became a picky eater. Now I dread it and am sick of cooking a limited few dishes. And how do you like the instant pot as slow cooker? I've been debating getting another slow cooker because a lot have said it doesn't work well due to heating only from the bottom.

Just follow the instructions on the packet (warm them through gently in the oven for about 15-20 mins)
