Hey aren't you the girl from the first video? Man how are you doing? How did you bring it all together? Lots of love man, you didn't loose your shit on camera!♥️
Especially the part where the lady slapped the girl upside the head multiple times, even though she wasn't moving 😢😢 Not me reliving childhood trauma 😭😭😂😂
Me: *eating a box of powdered donuts and getting the powdered sugar all over my face* Uhhhhhhh.... *Puts down box and wipes the crumbs of my chest* ooookkkkkeeeeeaa...
I LOVE Mondo, I saw Its Black Friday’s video and thought for sure “oh he’s gonna make fun or trash the alternative culture” and he didn’t and loved it, and was extremely respectful and I just love him so much, he’s an amazing person and hairstylist!
On the bright side, I think the first girl found her style with the middle parted blonde bowl cut. She's half leonardo di caprio, half the blond one from the backstreet boys. I've had that cut (side parted) for a few months, and I'm thinking I want it back, with a good ol' middle part. I'm a brunette tho, I'm no boy bander.
all the drama in the beauty community now so um i’m just gonna go back and watch some hair from last year. i almost died when that lady was slapping her client.
Brad always makes me feel so good at the beginning of his videos. I'm sitting here 9 days postpartum with messy hair and nursing my newborn and he calls us gorgeous :) Thanks Brad
LadyMiyu. Yes! I'm here with my youngest son in bed trying to get him asleep watching on silent with sub titles covered in baby formula eating chips! Congrats on the little one
I told my daughter "I love Brad Mondo" And she says *GASP* "you love him? Is that my dad?" 😭😂😂 she's almost 4 and her dad hasn't been in her life the last 2 years. Lol poor babe but I can't help but laugh.
Carmen, it really isn't too bad, Freya just put out a video of her taking it out and brushing/wash. It's Black Friday is a fantastic vlogger to follow.
It's Black Friday! 💙💙 I love her... And yea, they don't fuck around when it comes to big hair. That's actually an older video, in a more recent one her hair is even taller than his
Kayla that’s Japanese pudding .-. It comes in a little container that you flip over on a plate so that the chocolate is in top I think that’s what you’re talking about
Brad can change my mood in like 2 seconds... I was feeling pretty bored and down and just like 5 seconds in I’m already like so into the positive vibes
My sister is a hair stylist in Sweden, so I'm gonna let you in on some shit. Now to be fair, there might be different rules elsewhere, but it'll probably be similar. Now, this is about donating your hair. This is great, it's a lovely thing to do, and you're sweet for caring about other people who are struggeling, BUT, before you go and cut all of your hair off, you should know some shit. First of all, hair donations are very common. People do them a lot. They do them so much that actually, they're getting too much hair in some places. More than they could use, and the vast majority is just thrown in a bin. Call the salon or a charity first and ask them if they need donations, and then go to the salon. However, they also only use hair that is of good quality. If you dye your hair, or have damaged hair, they won't use it. If the structure of your hair is not strong enough even without you ever having dyed it, they won't use it. So, call the charity and ask if they need hair donations and ask them where you can go to donate your hair. Secondly, ask the hair stylist if your hair is good enough to actually be useful in making a wig. Be prepared for a no, and try not to get hurt. If your hair has been dyed they're likely to say no due to that, and if you just have very thin, frail hair, just accept it, it's not your fault. If you get the go-ahead from the charity and the hair stylist/salon, and this is something you really want to do, go ahead and do it. Don't just walk into a salon and tell them to cut all of your hair off to donate. They are unlikely to turn you away because obviously this is a kind gesture and should be appreciated, and it is even if your hair is not suitable for wigmaking. So don't go and get all of your hair cut off for nothing. Do some research, talk to the people involved, and if they say it's cool, you can then go ahead and donate your hair.
Embla Notits McGee At my hair school, the extra clippings get taken by GreenCircle and is made into mats or rolls that soak up oil from contaminated water.
It's pretty much the same in most places I think. If you have any chemicals or color in your hair they might say they'll donate it but they just collect in and throw it in a bin later on. People don't like being told their hair isn't "good enough" which isn't really what the salon is saying. We need to remember that they're making it into a wig that needs to last and look good. If you've bleached your hair, or dyed it, it will likely look aweful in a wig. But people really get really pressed about getting told that their hair isn't something they can donate so many salons will just chop it off to make you feel like you've done something helpful, and then they just chuck it.
That first girl is going to be piiiissed when they deny that hair, her hair is clearly bleached and they won't take any processed hair for donation xD She said it was her "natural hair" but ... It's obviously bleached on the top half... All of this could have been avoided lol
It looks a bit too short as well. I thought that it was pretty obvious that it was bleached because you can see the line from the roots and the back and underside were so much darker.
Yoyoskull Not for Locks of Love. No bleached hair is usable. Most other hair donation places have the same requirements, except for two that I have found, and one of them isn't even for wigs. Per the website: Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process. **If the hair was bleached years ago and has completely grown out it is fine to donate. www.locksoflove.org/get-involved/
Brad Mondo your positivity is what the world needs so badly right now. I’ve never once seen him say one mean thing about anyone. RU-vid needs more of your extra life 💕💕
me: hasn't showered yet, hair is matted, several acne breakouts across my face, cat is literally sitting on top of me while i lay in my unmade bed watching this video u: girL LOOK ATCHU!! me: ... i'd rather not
Why? WHY??? do they always, ALWAYS, go above the hair tie?? You can always cut more off, but you CAN'T glue it back 😵 🤣 Brad, rock that hawk!! Let us live our best extra by admiring your hair!!
When you donate your hair, it has to be connected by a ponytail. She should have moved the ponytail down some and then it wouldn't have turned out as bad. She still would have had the bad layering, but at least it would have been the right length
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: we need a drag tutorial. Brad is so handsome, I bet he’ll make a beautiful woman...miss vanjie, miss vanjie, miss VANNNNNJIE (had to add it in there 😂)
I feel bad for the first girl because she cut her hair off to donate it, I wish she knew that you can't donate dyed hair, and you could tell that her blonde is dyed because she has brown roots.
You can have naturally blonde hair and dark roots. Like maybe not extra dark, but yeah. I have naturally blonde hair (not what's in my photo obviously...) but my roots are a dark blonde so look brown in comparison. Plus I have dark brows.
It's Black Friday just did a video on how she detangles and settles her teased hair back to health. Brad, thank you so very much for being so accepting and positive about the Tower hawk and their looks. I'm so happy/proud! There needs to be more goth-accepting people out there!
First one, she could rock it after getting it trimmed/styled. Deathawk is WOW! I couldn't imagine teasing my hair, would hurt haha. The slap, yes they do it for that in certain countries lol. When my hubby was stationed overseas he would get these after cut scalp "massages" and he said they'd literally beat on his scalp 😂. Also, I have a vid for you to recreate!!! If you love blonde mohawks I ran across one the other day I wanted to try on myself and it is frakkin GORGE!!
I just LOVE how Brad is always so positive and ExTrA and soooo nice im just in bed super messed up stuffing food in my face and he calls me beautiful! I’m crying 😭🤣♥️♥️♥️
*My horrible hair story, that I ended up loving* : I was 14 put my hair in two high pigtails, and just chopped, I screamed, then put the mirror on the floor and just started cutting upside down. It wasn't bad,.kinda choppy. My mum brought me to get it fixed, and I actually had to get the back shaved I went so short, I LOVED SPIKING IT UP!!! The end.
My horrible hair story that I had to live with for a month: okay, it was the end of June and the beginning of July, I was 13 years old. I bought a box of splat hair dye in the brighter purple color thing. I bleached my hair, it literally turned golden yellow, then I dyed it. I guess I didn't leave the dye in long enough, because it went pink . Hehehehe. Okay, after that I didn't like it, so like, two days later I bleached it again thinking I would get all the color out and maybe it would go brown again, because I didn't know shot about hair 😂 it started falling out a bit then I just dyed it black a week later and wore a beanie for a month 😂
