I love your attitude. You don't throw it at a shop and let them do the work for you. You go to a shop and start telling the workers there what to do. Respect for that.

This channel has become my favorite so ridiculously quick. When i watched the first video i knew i had to subscribe and definitely turn that notification bell on. Im really stoked that this channel is doing so good and is blowing up undeniably quick. Keep up the good work man because ill be here supporting without a doubt.

Believe me you'll get used to it. I have all solid race mounts on my engine and transmission on my mazdaspeed3. First couple days I didn't enjoy it at all but once I got used to it and really gave her the beans the trade off was so worth it. I love it now.

I miss a lot more of these days, they always felt so educational to me. I love the videos now but I also loved learning so much.

U sure you lined up the markings to the plates?? Remember that DSS balances the driveshafts and marks how they should be installed. I have no vibrations with mine.

Hope you didnt overtorque those with that extension on there for the Allen key. Torque indicated is less then the actual torque applied with an extension

Same problem here! My driveshaft vibrated at 30 and very harsh at 60! Took it off and so far so good with the stock driveshaft

Hey man the vibration might can made a little better by rotating the drive shaft 180 degrees, i know it sounds weird but sometimes it makes it a little better

Problem with that tool is you are actually multiplying the actual torque that the bolt is getting.

That would have sucked trying to do it on jack stands. 👍 good video

I think with the amount of absolute craziness that's under the hood and everything else can put this car into 9-10 second range, I would kill to see that car hit a 9 at the callout or test run on the track

The torque you put on the bolts with the Allen Key torque wrench thing be accurate. They are over torqued if you just set the wrench to the torque spec and not compensated for the fact that you extended the wrench. Torque wrenches are calibrated for their length because the longer the wrench is the less force is needed to apply the same torque setting. So if you didn’t do the math to figure out what you’ll need to set the wrench to in order to have the current toque on the bolts, then they will be over torqued because you extended the wrench and increased leverage.

I don't know a whole lot about mustangs but I do know a lot about truck axles and what if you got a balanced axle. that should help alleviate some of the vibration.

Its really funny to see you go up to a store and doin the driveshaft replacement yourself, just using their car lift xD

So I’m no drive shaft expert but from the looks of that shaft it goes from a universal joint at the gear box to a constant velocity joint at the diff, thus most likely causing 99 percent of that said vibration, and might cause damage on other components, you should have a universal joint at each end to cancel each other out, or constant velocity joint at each end, u can’t mix and match. Ima anyway, I may be wrong.

Did you line up the blue lines if not that is why you have vibration I have the DSS drive shaft I have no vibration in mine but I have a auto I line up the blue lines

I put the FordRacing one piece driveshaft in my car no vibration that is why I chose it over the DSS set up no adapter plates needed
