I reside in St. Augustine, FL and the surf fishing industry has boomed since I started back in 1999. There is an open market out there to make good profits but with Amazon I learned to check there first for prices. I paid about almost $575 for a reel when Amazon had it for $410. Fresh Bait is key and a variety of fishing equipment on hand ready to sell. Don't over charge for products (greediness can hurt). Have fishing tournaments. as much as you can!!!!!! Good luck with your Adventure, Tight Lines
What all of you are doing is very exciting!!!!!!!! I am near 70, retired and having the time of my life right now. If I were younger, I would be looking for a spot on your team. I am enjoying watching your Social Media coverage of what and how you are going about your endeavors. Thank you for sharing all of this.
I am stoked to see what you all evolve into. My hopes is that the bummy stick becomes a little more affordable....lol I'm a cop and I don't make a large salary but law enforcement is my passion and fishing is my favorite hobby. Best of luck to all of you.
I’m a huge fan of the 3 amigos 😅 but Buddys energy is always 1,000 percent and I absolutely enjoy listening to him. I wish they would drop the Buddy podcast already I’m getting inpatient 😆 rooting for BBO to be the greatest fishing brand ever
I love it guys and support/wish/pray you guys crush all of your goals. I can't wait to see how you guys navigate thru all of challenges ahead of you. Keep pushing forward and you will CRUSH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited for you all. I love the teamwork attitude. I hope you meet all your goals. You can do it. By the way i made it by your store last year and everyone was real nice and gave me an out of towner ideas on where to fish. Thank you.
Y'all might want to think about trying to open a store in VA Beach. And I'd love to help run it. Maybe you could buy out the biggest existing tackle shop there. There are lots of people fishin' and going to the beach up here all summer long. And locals keep fishin' all year. So maybe think about it. And I'm serious about working there. Starting a RU-vid channel would be cool too. Also I speak Spanish fluently so I could help y'all reach another massive audience. I grew up fishin' in Florida and fished for years in Costa Rica too, so I speak fishin' also and it's kinda my passion.
Too bad, you don't live in Gulf Shores! We for sure have plans to expand! And, who knows, we could end up in Virginia Beach! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching the show!
@@BeachBumOutdoors Matt I can be there next week if I can work for you guys. I'll be happy to help with the RU-vid channels, the store, maintenance, remodeling, painting and other jobs. If you want an American who speaks English and Spanish fluently, grew up catching fish, and never met a stranger, I'm your guy. It's literally my dream job.
I have a friend, his son started a website selling chairs when he was 14 years old, I think he is 32 now and has a net worth around 200 million. He started when the internet was fresh and not saturated with vendors so that really helped them grow, as I understand way more difficult to do that now a days. That being said I wish you nothing but success.
Hit up Ace Hardware for a spot in the distribution center! I used to manage an Ace retail location and we were HURTING for fishing suppliers. If y’all could get in the warehouse with some tackle it would be AWESOME
So question, how are you going to find something in the fishing industry that fills one of the gaps that doesnt already exist? There are so many different options for anglers to chose, why would they chose your stuff?? If you can find that answer, then you are on your way...
Thank you for tuning in and for your comment! We're working on some of those "gaps" now and we're super excited to be sharing some updates on those in the near future!
