I just lost my husband of 47 years September 2021 and right before he passed he looked up at the ceiling and said isn’t that beautiful I knew then he’d seen heaven..that’s when I knew I had to let him go🥲🥲🥲
When my dad died in 1994, he looked up and said hello, with such joy, to my brother who had died in 1977-he was 16. It was as though 25 years were removed from my dad’s face and his eyes became the most crystal blue anyone has ever seen-my dad was 56.
Sorry you lost your dad and brother. But with that smile on his face and seeing your brother I'd say heaven was sure one happy place for them both to wait on you and the rest of the family!
Amazing song! I have stage 4 endometrial cancer recurrent that's spread to my lungs, bladder & pancreas! I'm preparing for that glorious day when I get to meet my God, I do believe it's gonna be a glorious day! Sadly I am leaving 3 young boys ages 31,28 & 26 & a 12 yr old grandson. I installed lost my dad 2 years ago but he didn't say if he say the light but I hope he did because I miss him very much here every day here on earth. And I also lost my only brother Joey Jr and my closest nephew Joseph and I miss the most 3 men in that we're important to me and made me happy every day and now I feel lost and sad because there not here with me anymore 😢.

This is such a beautiful song, story and testimony ❤️! My father-in-law too was a very healthy and active 80 years young. Out of nowhere, sick, throwing up huge, old blood clots. Emergency Room identified and diagnosed bone, liver and lung cancer, terminal and immediately placed on hospice, passing 30 days later. A God fearing man who gave testimony, witnessing and was ready when he went home to his Savior. My mother with Parkinson, Dementia and Pneumonia at the time of her passing. She had some difficult days just prior but she too opened her eyes, looking above everyone at the end of her bed, a look of such joy, happiness and look of seeing something so beautiful and amazing! What a blessing that we can take this sorrow turned into our Peace and Comfort today.

My Mom passed in January 2022 at 84. My Mom was my strong tower who had me when she was just 16 years old. I miss her everyday. We played this song at her memorial service. I cry every time I hear it as I can see her telling me to go write a story because I know she is cheering me on and I know she can’t wait to hear the stories! Lost my husband years ago. He was a man that believed in God , exercised everyday ate 3 meals hardly any junk food never smoked or drank. He was working in the yard. Came and set on the porch swing and God took him home. He was only 65. So when God wants you he takes you home. I'm waiting for my turn.

My Uncle surprised me with Lauren tickets in 2018 for Christmas. He did that all on his own. I got to see her March 10, 2019. Her raw talent, her emotion, and the way she delivers her stories through music are what make me love her even more. She is the only Idol I’ve ever kept up with and followed. She’s a relatable girl with a lot of brightness to show. That said, I lost my paw paw the same year she lost Sam. I lost him in August to cancer. The first time I heard this song was on Dancing with the Stars. She did a contemporary dance to her singing this song on the one year anniversary of Sams death. It was so emotional and moving.
This is breathtaking. Before I even say anything about the topic she is very vocally underrated. She's literally got a guitar playing a few notes basically acapella just blowing out of the water and trying not to cry at the same time. Amazing. Other side is just starting to get airplay in Florida we're very behind. I'm not religious at all but the first time I heard it my heart stopped I could just was so poignant and after watching her sing it live you can't help but sob your eyes out.

Losing a loved one isn’t easy but it’s easier knowing we will be reunited with them someday. My Daddy was physically blind but he went home to be with the Lord 29 years ago and now he has 20/20 vision. When I get to Heaven he will see me for the first time! Makes me want to shout!! God bless you!!

I was not present at the exact moment he took his last breath but the night before (after not being awake at all for a few days) looks up and said “Meg it really is real, my son eddy is right there I can almost touch him. My best friend died at the age of 24 from COVID-19 2 days ago I been crying now since then I felt the same way you did Lauren we worked at a burger place in a small town of Florida and yesterday I felt him and I realized he wouldn’t want me to cry or be selfish so I told myself not to cry to keep fighting so the next day after his passing I got hired at a restaurant in Florida I’m a fighter and he fought a long fight rest in heaven D I love you I promise I want give up I told you I’ll make it out of Florida I’ll be successful I know your watching over us with god by your side till I see you again forever a warrior❤️❤️❤️❤️

He truly did see Heaven. He described what I’ve seen and I suppose everyone’s ‘slice of Heaven’ is very slightly different but only because of the people who are there to meet you. I saw it once and it was surreal; the colours were so beautiful and vivid. It was full of nature, so clean with flowers in so many different colours, the greenest grass and trees with a sky so blue & not one cloud. It was so sunny and bright but I could look at the sky without seeing the sun (if that makes sense🤷🏼♀️). I could also hear water and see it rippling over stones without actually seeing it as it was in the background and I could hear lots of children laughing, giggling together….all young children, toddlers, who I knew were my babies (I have SLE and also had 2 life saving Ops for severe sepsis which meant I had multiple organ failure & I also survived septic shock but I wasn’t advised by the Hospital or aware myself, that I was lacking in essential vitamins, minerals etc that were depleted - some to 0 - as a result of my body fighting to keep me alive), It was due to the aforementioned that I lost many babies…twins which I know for definite as one bled out but after being scanned I was advised that the remaining one had a strong healthy heartbeat…I saw her, and I couldn’t help but cry because I knew she would never be in my arms…..how do you begin to explain that to the Staff and consultants at the Maternity Hosp, but sure enough just 1wk later I requested a scan and it was the same radiographer who had done the 1st one so she was full of confidence and pushed the screen round for me to see…..and then went quiet. Tbh I have to give her credit…as I do to all of the staff who are in the position she was, because how do you tell someone (especially after you had so strongly & confidently reassured after scanning them just 1wk earlier and finding a strong healthy heartbeat, that they had absolutely nothing to worry about) when re-scanning them with a confident smile for you, until they realised that the remaining baby had passed. I’ve lost so many since then…even after taking supplements to build them back up, but my body just won’t seem to absorb them/keep hold of the supplements now & I don’t no why….no one knows why. Anyway I suppose it is what it is but my beloved Gran was stood in the entrance (I had to walk through an old railway tunnel which had about 8” of water in it, to get there but it felt like I was walking through quick drying cement). I was exhausted due to literally dragging myself along and felt that I had hardly moved but when looking up after looking at the water, I was around 8-10ft from the end and she - my Gran - was stood right there with a baby on her hip and children around her skirts….all looking at me, possibly 7-8 of them and more (who I knew were related to me somehow) playing out of my line of sight. I love my Gran more than anyone as she had been like a mother to me, and I adore children….I always wanted so many children so it was everything I could have hoped. I have to admit that I knew it was a 1 way ticket before I stepped in to that tunnel and I had looked everywhere time & time again for my identical twin and my soulmate…always ending up at this specific place from my childhood, where the entrance to an old railway tunnel had now appeared, and because I knew that once I crossed over I would never get to come back….as in living my life….I would again go looking, shouting their names until eventually I accepted that they weren’t there which is when I stepped in to that tunnel. When I looked up and saw my Gran with my babies and saw the inexplicable beauty of where they were I didn’t care that it was a one way ticket…..but my Gran said words I will never forget (tbh I’ll never forget any of it), she said NO, her exact words were “no love, you have to go back, it’s not your time”, and with tears running down my face I said “but I don’t want to go back, I want to be with you……I want to be happy”, but she was so insistent…quietly insistent, telling me I had to go back as I had so much more to do but when it was my time she would be there waiting for me. She also said something about ‘anything you want/need, just ask and it’ll be given’ and I no she meant love and happiness….not the material things. Obviously I went back, however the most bizarre part was that having seen how long the tunnel was before I stepped in to it, then walking or should I say dragging my feet through it then looking up and being so close to the end, it felt like I had walked over half a mile and I was dreading the walk back as I could actually feel the ache/burn in my thighs and was not looking forward to that walk back, but when I turned around I was approx 6-8ft from the entrance….and it was the easiest walk of my life. That experience was real, it wasn’t a dream, I wasn’t on LSD or any other type of mind altering substance…..I wasn’t on any substance at all, but I had suffered a serious injury not long before that fracturing my skull and had also been in a car accident after being fun off the road by a fast oncoming bus which was halfway across the centre line in to my lane so I had to quickly swerve as I came around the corner….and in doing so I lost control due to the severe weather conditions (I found out later that the road was closed due to deep snow and snow drifts….but due to the weather there was a delay in the road being physically blocked off), so my car went down a hill and tipped on its roof with the force popping the windscreen out and crushing the roof which made it impossible to open the doors. I was suspended upside down in my seatbelt with my head touching the roof and no more. I managed to release my seat belt and crawled out without 1 scratch….I had not a mark on me although my passenger had cuts / injuries. Sadly I found out that there had been a few fatalities that night with most of them occurring as a result of them losing control and the exact same thing that happened with my car, (overturning), happened to those others but mine was the only car who had no fatalities although it was totally written off and I was advised that in a car like mine they wudve usually had to cut it open to get ppl out. I truly believe that there are absolutely no coincidences in this life, everything happens as it’s meant to.🕊🙏🏼🕊

This song reminds me of the day my hubby passed away from brain cancer... his battle with cancer and his death brought me closer to God. I have never in my life been as angry as I was when he left and to this day Justice has not been served, nobody has been charged and it doesn't look like they ever will. I had a dream, so real, and saw a beautiful heaven with friends & family there. All doing so well, happy, no sickness nor hurt….the air was crisp & fresh, the trees swaying as if dancing with happiness, all were smiling & talking of happy thoughts. It was amazing til my name was called out & I was told, ‘it’s not your time’ And I immediately woke up on my sister’s sofa where I fell back asleep just an hour earlier listening to the rain falling on her roof. More was seen before awakening, but you can see what I feel…
