Hi, in This video, I show you how to make your PS4 & PS5 Faster by turning HDCP off.
📴 Turn it off while playing games.
🔛 Turn it on for watching movies.
I was wrong! 👎 about input lag: here's why: • HDCP ON OR OFF - input...
I wish PlayStation had an automatic option for HDCP to turn off and on while gaming or doing something else, but hey, you still have a manual option!
Remember, HDCP will not give you higher fps on games or faster loading times, it just makes the input lag lower, so don’t get the title wrong!

Bro, I used to play fortnite on PS4 fat and was unplayable because of stutterings. I almost gave it up to play Fortnite when I saw your video and turnned off HDCP, now my game is smoother and enjoyable again. Thank you very much.

Remember, HDCP will not give you higher fps on games or faster loading times, it just makes the input lag lower, which feels you see the game acting faster when pressing any button or doing anything, I don't know how many ms it actually makes it less because it depends on the game, Console, HDCP version but in PS4 FAT, I could feel the difference, so try it yourself and make a decision.

Hi Daniel, I need your help. I tried to connect dualshock to pc. And in the beginning everything worked on usb, but after that it just stopped working with the PC. on ps4 everything is fine. I tried both with usb and bluetooth, installing third-party programs such as imputgame and ds4windows. But it still doesn't work. please help

Hi, press win, type device manager, run it and while the dual shock is connected, find it in that device manager, delete the driver of controller then reconnect it, if didn't work, try using driver easy or driver talent application to reinstall the driver

Glad I could help! For capture cards you have to disable HDCP.

Yeah, I just didn't make before after test, next time I will do it to show people how it actually affects, it's about 1-3 frames in a 60fps game faster.

All I do on my PS5 is play games I don't watch Netflix on it I don't watch RU-vid on it or anything else it's just an extra level of processing I don't need and I'm definitely turning it off

True! if you don't use apps, then you can simply turn it off. last time I made a test it added 3ms to a 120Hz game. in 60FPS games it goes even higher.

Hi, Xbox has a great option to automatically turn it off on games and on when using copyrighted content, there's no option to do it but the Xbox would do it automatically as far as internet says.

This will not make your PS5 faster. You will not notice a difference in input lag.

Hi, I explained in the video, it makes input lag less, I could feel it so good in PS4 Fat, however I did put the title like this, so people can understand what this video is about instead of saying this will make input lag less (they would say what is input lag...) it definitely depends on your console and the game you are playing.

if you disable HDCP you can't use your streaming apps anymore such as youtube, netflix & co.. do you know a workaround to be able to stream and use those apps
