As an avid track follower I can tell you that now it is damn near impossible to follow all of the track meets on ESPN+, plus Peacock, and regular broadcast media. The explosion is occurring and ESPN+ should be commended on all of the conferences that are now broadcasting their meets and championships. Even though I knew about every meet you mentioned and the results of those meets I am still trying to catch up to all the championships I missed before the Regional Championships begin. It is on like popcorn, just enjoy and continue to do what you do.

Exactly, and wait until next year with this FloTrack BS…we will basically not be able to see our sport. I have ESPN subscription, but I cannot stream it without paying for Plus, and I’m like, I already have it on my regular television but my own subscription is asking me to pay more? ROFL…I am still catching up with a few when I’m use to watching them all as well.

Thank you for emphasizing the college-level track & field. In college athletics it's the conference championships that are the big deal, because they are for everyone; nationals are for only a few. I wish we could have tv coverage like they do for basketball.

Hey coach rob, I’ve been a big fan for awhile and I know you used to be a college coach. I’m gonna be training for the 400 all summer and was wondering if you have any tips

Thanks for reaching out and for watching. Summer training is all about fundamentals if you’re not competing in meets. Quality workouts at 70 to 80 percent that develop aerobic capacity across 300 to 600 meters are always good combined with acceleration work through 30 meters. If you do too much more than that too quickly you can run in to injuries. There are some great training channels with coaches that also offer programs for self training you should consider.
