You deserve to know the TRUTH about what is really going on in College Track and Field, and HOW TO GET RECRUITED by the right college team. That is what I’m here for.

I looked at indoor and outdoor season ranks i think Dominick Brister has a chance to be something special he ran a 20.3 46.4 6.6 60m and got second in the 200m indoors
No knock on Abby, she a great runner, but ever human who participates in the trials is great. They are all experienced. Abby has a coach who is a professional. Whatever they had to do to bring out the greatest possible performance she has in her is what professional track athletes and their teams do. She did not do that. She have another opportunity. I hope the black woman, some of whom are just as attractive and more attractive than Abby in some cases, get the endorsements too. We shall see but I am highly skeptical
He might win the goal in the 200 and he has a good chance. There's no telling if he's going to win the gold in the 4x 1. And he's definitely not going to win it in the 100 gold or silver
And that's just for the bronze. He absolutely will not get to the silver and the only ones capable of grabbing a silver or Fred curley if he can get back to his old self. Or Christian taylor If he can get back to his old self.
I almost agree with you on everything. He will not win a 100 M gold or silver and he might not even get on the podium at all. I hope he does because it should be interesting, but it's highly unlikely. He's got Illinois, school boy, use ,, Simbini and the new wiz coming out of Ghana
He's going to get anything he's going to get. Probably the 200 on a great day. Even if he gets the second second spot it will be a major accomplishment. But those guys got those feats long before. No allows present age now. Usain bolt wrote the world record four times as a matter of fact, five times he broke it three times in the hundred and two times in the 200. He broke the world record in the 4x100 as well
You can't add Carl Lewis cuz Carl Lewis is dirty. He admitted that and he admitted it on the stand to about everybody else. It cannot use Carl Lewis you might. You probably have to use Michael Johnson or Darrell Green
As a high school senior in pole vault I was undefeated and beat a future World Record holder and Olympic champion. Went on to college and then graduate school after that and never looked back. Athletics was for high school only for a lot of guys who in today's environment would have a better chance of financial rewards.
I just realized, don't think i can root for a guys who weres pearls around his neck and beads in his hair like a woman, sry just too weird, if your a man be a man, if your a girl be a girl, don't be setting out confuse me.
Coach Rob, I have a question that only an expert like you can answer. It doesn't look like Noah Lyles nor anyone else in Paris 2024 has a chance of beating Usain Bolt's 100m 9.58 or his 200m 19.19 world records. Why? It's my own uneducated guess that Usain Bolt's body, like Michael Phelps's in swimming, is a freak of nature. There are many tall and powerful runners, but none of these runners have the fast twitch muscles and stamina of Usain Bolt. Noah Lyles has fast twitch muscles that match Usain Bolt's but Noah isn't as tall and powerful. Noah is running at the upper limits of what his body allows, the fastest runner in the world currently, but handicapped by his body and therefore won't break any world records. Usain Bolt won the genetic lottery. Yes, it takes exceedingly hard work to break world records but a body like Usain Bolt's is born once in a lifetime. Runners with bodies like Noah Lyles and Carl Lewis, though rare and able to win Olympic Gold, are more common. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for asking. As well as your thoughtful comment. I hesitate to explain Bolt’s dominance as primarily a byproduct of his genetics. He was a special talent who also read the sprinting textbooks. We could even argue he was a natural sprinter, perhaps. Noah Lyles is also a special talent today. But there are limits to what the human body is capable of. I don’t believe anyone will ever run 9 seconds for example. So world record chasing will get harder as we get closer to the limits of possibility. Someone will eventually catch Bolt. Even if Noah isn’t the one to do it. But if they do it won’t be by much I would guess. The advancements that we have made in technology and training or allowing younger athletes to perform at a higher level than they ever have. But the best pros are still dealing with the same limitations. It explains why all the youth and junior records are falling in this era. But world records are still few and far between.
@@SCATrackandField Of course, as I said, part of Usain Bolt's success is because of his exceedingly hard work. It feels to me also that we've reached some kind of barrier to new world records, not in long distance running, but in the sprint events. I too don't think anyone will run a sub 9 second 100 meter anytime soon. I bet, however, that within the next 30 years someone will run under 9 seconds. How? With CRISPR and genetic mutations. CRISPR will make people smarter and run faster. CRISPR will create superhumans but it's a scary path forward. Countless people, "test subjects" will be "sacrificed" in the process. Though international laws prevent genetic experimentation on humans, I bet China is already way ahead of the curve. In 30 years, Americans and Jamaicans won't be breaking world records, the Chinese will. It will be a Chinese man who will be the first to run a sub-9 second 100 meter race. This path forward is inevitable... if we don't blow ourselves up first.
In very end of 2000's and early 2010's a guy while at NDSU in Summit league who went to Pierre TF Riggs High School in South Dakota he ran an 800 meter where he almost made it to the USA Olympic trials in 2012 London in his 3rd or final year for school.
Coach Rob, you should keep an eye out for Meadow Gallentine from West Texas A&M out in Canyon, TX, in the weight throw, hammer throw, and shot put. She’s pretty solid.
I think it's crazy that a coach would have to pay out of pocket for a walk on? You would think that there is wiggle room in the budget. And if it isn't the school is able to borrow funds from other budgets that arent being used. I know this is possible as I worked as an accountant for a college.
I do not mean that coaches pay out of their own pocket. They spend money from the team budget on the resources that serve each athlete. That includes walk-ons. However, nobody wants to spend money that doesn't generate a return in winning.
Dennis Mitchell, Noah Lyles is the Dennis Mitchell of the era. All talk and really annoying and can't win the big one like the Olympics. He better watch out from the Jamaicans, jus sayin
Tebogo might shock the world. After destroying the 300m wr, I don't see how he can't run 19.2 or 19.3. His 100m and 300m are faster than Michael Johnson the 200 is next
*C'mon we have to do better research and stop painting her as the underdog! 2023 she ran a what 9 races and won them all, but the only thing you missed out was she did not run against anybody in the top 20 of the 200m. Her first time she did it was against Gabby and Talou, which she barely beat Talou but lost horribly to gabby. However, the most important piece of the pic is in 2 different races. Abby said she was healthy, felt good, and was getting faster. After she lost a US champs, she was hurt, and she had to fly at different events is a weak.excuses a lot of pros flew around the world. You forgot when Sha'Carri went to africa ran a great time and puked after the race and news outlets were saying she was out of shape. We keep saying abbys' capable time, but she has only run sub 22 twice with wind (legal) on her back. 2023, she was a consistent 22.3 or 22.3, and she finished the year in 22.08. She had a cherry-picking season, and it didn't pay off!*
Let's keep it real. She will never win a individual Gold medal in The Olympics or world championship games If she keeps running 100 and 200 Meters. Which has always in the Past present and future been dominated by black women. I'm keeping it real if you don't like it too bad. She might be more successful as a pro Running 400 m or 800 m. But she will never be successful. Running the short sprint. She does not have the genetics. That's just the way it is. When dana white ask Body builder ronnie coleman how He got so Big Ronnie reply genetics Just like thoroughbred Race horses. Bloodline Genetics, I have nothing personal against abby I wish her the best, but she's in the wrong Track events to be a champion
Fred kerly and omanyalla both ran 9.77........whats your point?? Both runners are going to Paris. Kishane will have to run 9.77 in paris in order to win gold.
@@Jaybrown223 What's your point⁉Kerley:9.76 in 2022 age 27yrs; Omanyala: 9.77 in 2021 age 25yrs; Lyles: 9.83 in 2023 age 26yrs. THOMPSON: 9.77 SHUTTING DOWN IN 2024 AGE 22 YEARS‼Do you get the POINT yet⁉😐They are plenty points so take your pick❗ Bolt ran 9.58 just days before turning 23 ! Blake ran 9.69 a few months before turning 23 ! Seville just ran 9.82 a couple months after turning 23 ! Thompson will be in Paris a couple weeks after turning 23‼Any points taken?? And by the way, my original and obvious point is Lyles has never ran 9.82 and will never ever run 9.77: NEVER‼
