Very simple tip, and yet so valuable. The clip selection and compiling the rough timeline is a very tedious process. Very often when I start a project I cant find the motivation to get started because of that. This should help
I have to complement you on this video. Overall, it was clear and useful, so thank you. But, it was much more than that. Your narration was clear, concise, and delivered perfectly. This is in contrast to those who speak too fast, using far too many ill-considered words and sentences that destroy any chance of fast comprehension. Truly appreciative of your efforts.
Loving your content for real! So easy to follow and great techniques! Wanted to let you know that right now you say there's a course or something at the end of the vid, but nothing shows up on my screen at the end. Like 4 :59 onward there should be a vid or course showing up right? I'm not seeing it. Wishing you great success. Your content is amazing!
Awesome tips, I already used half of them when editing my videos. I got a question though, you mentioned to assign the P key to insert, but what if I just want to insert the video, not the audio, or the other way around? Is there a way to do it assigning keys as well? Thanks!
OMG I just found you chenal but i can say, you are the best! Thank you for this information. I must cut right now 100 video and after your help i need for this not so much tiome. thank you and good luck!
Thank you so much! I used to edit wedding videos, each video with around 600-1400 clips, and doing it this way has saved me a lot of time. The same goes for my travel videos ^^
Resolve is really missing the "favorite" feature that Final Cut Pro have, which let you instead of dropping clips in the timeline they flag the in and out are a new sub-clip labeled favorite without creating new clips. You can then see all your favorite clips (AKA your selects) in a folder in the browser with proper thumbnail which makes it much faster to found the clips you want instead of scrolling a timeline with hundreds of clips on it.
What clips are you referring to, the ones from Japan or the ones of the dog that appear at the end of the video? If it's the ones from Japan, could you pass me the tutorial you watched? Thank you@@ramanandh1261
"Go to the menu of the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the viewer..." I don't have them! I've searched for "Show Media Preview" and got nothing. I'm running 18.6. Any suggestions, anyone?!
Great haha, it's been years since that trip... let's see if one day I muster the courage to edit the video of the trip and upload it to the channel. ^^
I was interested in watching your video, but the text on screen is just SOOOOOO annoying! Any chance you would consider using Captions instead, let the viewer decide?
