Thanks for the help. I tried this in the free version, my computer must be too slow as once it's applied to a clip it's not even playable anymore. Wish you had showed how to apply it to a only a speed ramped portion of a clip. Ughhhh......this was 100 times easier to do in Final Cut.
to save even more time: - don't click on an input field that's already in focus. Once you hit ctrl+space you can start typing. - don't click on add after typing the effect name, just hit Enter since you're already on the keyboard typing. - if the inspector isn't already open and selecting a node isn't enough, just double click on the node. - click on Go instead of manually going back to the reference frame.
We need to do rotoscoping, that is, creating masks manually. In the last video I uploaded to my channel, I teach how to make a transition using manual masks.

I have separeted my audio layer from the video, added another audio to it and linked it. Changing the speed doesn't affect the audio. How do I handle that? Thank you 😙
My dynamic zoom automatically starts as a smaller box and does not seem to allow me to keyframe the green box as to start as the entire video frame...what is going on? is this a premium feature?
Use planar tracker will save tons of time, instead of using keyframe and adjusting pen tool points. And planar tracker will work on free version of Davinici
With Planar Tracker, you will still need to create and readjust the keyframes. Planar Tracker will follow the movement of the column, but not its shape. You can see the example video in the pinned comment; the same thing will happen because the shape of the column changes due to perspective throughout the video.
Can I ask a question. I put an image starting from the middle of the video but when I see it the image is from the beginning of the video and when it reaches the point I set then it starts to stay still
That was decent, barely over a minute in and you had explained what I was trying to do. Where as other tutorials (I won't tell ya how many though) that I watched didn't not satisfy. In one I couldn't see where his mouse was, the second was to fast and jumped from scene to scene without a mouse, the third one was a mumbling and again was clipped so it jumped from scene to scene and still without a mouse point, but gotta say the fourth one was right on. thanks... oops wasn't gonna say how many
This ***** Tracker never works for me. It's never gonna full track the whole clip, always stops at some frames without any reason & wont track to the beginning at all. Watched so many videos or whatever .. it's so frustrating :(
I'm not sure what your audio problem is. I am currently encoding a video in MP4-H265 on a Windows 11 PC. If I chose AAC as my audio CODEC I have 320kbps track data rate with a sample rate of 44.1khz or 48Khz, if I chose FLAC I can choose 24-bit 41Khz up to 192khz. I've not had a problem yet with H265 on RU-vid myself, and that's @4K/60. I am running public Beta 19.4. I believe they updated their Windows audio CODECs.
