In this diablo 2 resurrected episode, I showcase my wind druid.
It's an end-game build which requires high tier items to shine at P8 but it melts anything at P1 even with just a few decent items, hope you enjoy the video, subscribe & turn on the bell for more videos.
skill tree:
MAX hurricane
MAX tornado
MAX twister
MAX cyclone armor
1 point artic blast / raven / spirit wolf / summon dire wolf / summon grizzly
Remaining points in oak sage
budget gear:
Helm = peasent crown, lore (runeword), shako, +3ele / 20fcr circlet or rare 2druid/20fcr circlet
chest = vipermagi, stealth or smoke or lionheart " runewords
amu = rare crafted amu +1-2druid skill/10fcr+, magic 3elemental amu 10fcr, low mara
2x rings = 10fcr rings with some usefull stats (mana life MF str dex resists) or dwarf, raven
gloves = magefist or trangoul
belt = thundergod, string, verdungo or rare 24fhr/50+life belt
boots = aldur boots, rare boots 30frw + resists
shield = spirit monarch
weapon = suicide branch, wiz spike or spirit sword
weapon switch = naj staff or staff with teleport charges

Hey everyone ! Just a few notes about the build 1/ 99%fcr setup is ok too but it will slow down you runs. 2/ For a 163%fcr setup, hoto + circlet + soj provides same dmg but more resists & mana than suicide branch + 5nado/5hurricane helm + 10fcr ring 3/ 99%fhr isn't a must but try to get at least 63% 4/ Budget build & skill tree in the video description 5/ Subscribe & like, thank you & Good luck with your runs 🙂

@@ilovemf also, I need the advice of a certified magic-finding pro. I'm trying to get the Immortal King's Soul Cage, single player offline. What should I run? Pindle/Thresh/Frozenstein/Snapchip? Or should I just run terror zones with a level 90+ character, the easier the zone, the better? (Like Act 1) I'm running with a nova sorc that can do regular zones at players 5 pretty easily, but only has around 175 MF. I also have a blizz sorc with around 375 MF that can roll most zones pretty easily at players 3 (other than cold-immunes).

Wind Druid is B tier bc the developers thought it would be “fun” to not allow the players to accurately aim where the tornadoes go lol honestly it’s the most annoying thing about it.

Yep but it's less annoying with enigma, you can replace quickly. Now, starting with this char is horrible... trying to target monsters running away all the time 💀

A more cold focused build with Doom and Nightwings is also solid. Gets you into p8 on a budget with 200mf.

A few seasons ago (before flicker) ran an Earth Spirit on a HC fire dru, along with dwarf, tgods... real comfy when not running cyclone armor! He's still alive to this day =D Although, I did swap back to wind at some point since fire really needs -res to function with sunder...

I started to ladder 3 with wind druid and found almost everything including Mara 29, 5/5 lightning/fire/cold rainbow, griffins etc. After 2 weeks though switched to fire druid when enigma,Phoenix, infinity and flickering is ready. Wind druid is a very safe farming machine,i agree but unfortunetly not speedy farmer like fire druid. Love your videos 💯

Hurricane/Doom Druid is the fastest P1 farmer in the game. Everything dies before you can cast anything.

I really like this build as well, I made it some time ago with nightwings, infinity merc etc.. the only downside is high life pool monsters in certains areas & bosses (especialy baal) that takes more time to kill but areas such as stony tombs or pits are "kind of oneshot'...

I've played around with a few variants. My favorite setup so far is dragon/hand of justice, crown of ages with two 15 ias 30 fire res jewels, carrion wind for the poison res and the twisters combined with freezes target/blind is amazing CC. Maras, Aldurs boots for the 40 frw and 50 fire res. Ravenfrost for the other ring. Forget the name but the 50 fire res blue set gloves. Hand has ignore target defense for the white mobs and conviction reduces defense so much that I max salvation/fire res, enough points into conviction for -150%, max FoH and remaining points into holy bolt. FoH for venom/pit lord packs, pigmies, abyss knights, or any high density undead/demon packs. Insight/cure/chains of honor prayer merc. I'm charging around so fast he's not even with me most of the time.

What if you used a cold sunder charm as well? And Infinity merc for more Hurricane cold dmg

Hey, not having decrepify from your merc will lower your dmg significantly. There's a cold variant build with doom RW, nightwings, infinity etc... but you can't reach 163%fcr & overall it's less effective especially in P8. A cold sunder charm with this build won't really affect your dmg, better have one more ele skiller.

Tornado is physical damage. So decrep breaks physical resistance so the monsters are taking multiple times more damage from your skill. Where as even with sunder and infinity working at 1/5th effectiveness increases damage by under 30%

It's a must mate, not all mobs will be cursed with decrepify & 10%dmg red isn't a big deal especially in softcore.

Um... I'm pretty sure that the 163fcr will do very little in terms of dmg, because Tornado has a Next Hit Delay of 25 frames. That basically means that an enemy can only be damaged by a tornado once every second.

I honestly don't see the need to hit the 163 breakpoint with this character. The kill time is plenty fast at 99. And I think you just make him into more of a glass cannon in the 163 builds. And I love using a wind druid cause he's normally anything but that. He's by far my fav players 8 build to play tho.

Hey mate, yeah very fun & safe build. The difference between 163 & 99 fcr clear speed is quite noticable at P1-P3 tho. With 99%fcr build, you get 4 more tornado skill points but you cast them slower. That said, 99%fcr is fine too of course!

Well it's good to know the damage is pretty equal if you swap for the circlet. That's if you can find the circlet lol. Those 20 fcr circlets are harder to come by than just about anything. Besides a gryffons of course

I love Druid, but D2 does not. If he had the cast rate of Necro/Paladin or even just able to cast in his SS forms, he'd be significantly ranked higher (and more fun to play). But hey, at least Assassin got Mosaic this ladder. Maybe next ladder, instead of Metamorphosis, we'll get something to reduce his cast frames or cooldowns?

Diablo 4 can't come fast enough. I think I'll simply stop playing Diablo 2 after getting to Act 2 because of Runewords and The Horadic Cube. Recipes etc... Which are almost impossible to understand and it's not fun to mess with either.

Yeah, not a big deal^^ ;), but 10fcr ring is a must (fcr breakpoint). The ring i use could have MF as well, just need a better one!
