As a mavs fan, he could’ve simply signed with us in 2021 when he was a free agent but chose to leave 7 championships on the table to get Milwaukee 1. I respect it.
@@davida7399 bruh, I was having a laugh….but fwiw Dallas are much more talented roster than Denver…Kyrie is better than Murray and Lively is better than any young player on Denver’s list…plus Gafford, Marshall, Hardy, Grimes, Kleber, Exum are all better than Nuggets bench players
@DunningKrugerJnr laugh, cry, pout, IDC. I miss the days of "we'll 4 in a row". I'd love to see a rematch. It means injuries won't affect the C's. I loved the video of Kyrie saying "at least we won one". Of course they did. The C's are generous. They give away games to weak teams.
i was praying for him to join Luka when he was a FA. He in his last 1-2 years of his prime so Dallas should consider carefully since he´s not a unrestircted FA before 2027. Kyrie becomes a FA in 2025 and it probably needs a sign and trade that includes him. Maybe even a multi-team-deal since Lillard is on the Bucks' roster
in Summer 2025 a trade could happen with Dallas trading pj, gafford, naji/klay, Hardy, + 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders... aside from klay all players traded from Dallas are either young or in their prime with value(some of them can be shipped somewhere else for more picks) + picks for a guy mabye asking out of Milwaukee... ma a would still have a bench with dinwiddie , grimes , kleber , o-max or ajinca
That would suck, but you wouldn’t even think twice about it. Just Gianni’s and Luka with bench players would be unstoppable. They would complement each others game like no two players we’ve ever seen.
People need to stop trying to make this a thing. Luka is about to get a $60 million a year extension, Kyrie is still getting paid, Klay is getting $20 million, and the entire team is capped for salary. So how exactly are they going to pick up one of the highest salary players in the league? GTFOH with the clickbait stuff. Giannis would be AWESOME on Dallas, but it's not going to happen.....even if he wanted to come and Milwaukee wanted to get rid of him.
FYI Mark Cuban isn’t in charge anymore and if he was he wouldn’t spend the money. That’s the reason he sold the majority share in the first place. So saying Cuban probably would pay that tax is just not possible. It would be Dumont.
It would be an awful exit for klay he chose the mavs because he likes the way they treated players and want to win a chip. But that Luka,Kyrie, Marshall/Washington,Giannis, Lively is a scary sight to see. imagine a two lethal scorer with defenders and two grown mans that can dominate the paint.
@@iamchaunceman 2 years ago I was sold. Now, I've seen Luka and Kyrie get most of the way up the mountain and add Klay + defense. I hope Nico and Kidd are not ready to mess with that yet.
@@younglightskin2685 I'm saying the Thunder would be at least as good as the Mavs + Giannis, The Timberwolves are much more talented, and the Nuggets (healthy) are head and shoulders better, They Celtics, fully healthy, are so far beyond the Mav+KD, they are probably much better even with KP injured. The Mav's two best players struggle with D. Kyrie can play it in bursts (a couple games per series, Luka is improving. Otherwise, they have some nice defensive shooters, but no seriously sounded or talented players. The Celtic's start 5 elite players. Their bench is better most starting five: Horford shot , is their 6th man. And he's been great. over 26+ mins he averaged 41% from 3 (4 shots per game is no joke, 86.6%FT, 51% fg Hauser was just ridiculous from deep, setting a record for midcourt shots made in a season. Peyton Pritchard and Sam Hauser were top 10 in PER (PP was $! in PER). Luke Kornet and is a easily a starting caliber Center, I'm not crazy about Xavier Tilman as a starter, but off the bench, that's a luxury.. So is Lonnie Walker, a 2 way guard shoots 38% from 3, 47%. his FT% was only 73%, which isn't great for a guard when he got minutes, his stats went up.
@younglightskin2685 in the West, a healthy Nuggets team would still be the best. By far. The Timberwolves are talented and viscious. More talented than the Mavs. And KC is deeper and better. Out West, the Mavs w Giannis would accomplish a lot at 3rd place. Against the Celtics, the only reason they wouldn't get set against a healthy Boston team is because the Celtics tend to give away a game or two playing down to their competition
Nah it wouldn't be worse. Giannis (until now) didn't really have help. Only Dame and even he is old rn. KD had help from young players and still decided to went to the team that beat him in the playoffs and had already won a championship.
@@philip5454 it definitely wouldn’t be worse but it would be really close. obviously we would have to see what happens next season but giannis has had plenty of help in his career he couldn’t have won a chip without having said help. to leave in free agency after getting damian lillard of all people to join another MVP (next year) would be a terrible look regardless of how you spin it.
I don’t think it would be like Kevin Durant. Gianni’s didn’t quit on the Bucks, he brought them a ring and relevance. Hes been loyal, and unlike KD, Lukas mavs aren’t in the same conference, and therefore have no rival history where as OKC was close to the warriors and him immediately joking the team that beat him is what rubbed nba fans the wrong way. Gianni’s has been loyal and has stayed every time it looked like he could leave. Giannis is surrounded by old players, he deserves another chance at winning and that’s probably not happening in Milwaukee. That Dame trade was the beginning of the end unless they can somehow move him instead.
