This May Be The Best Hornets Team In The LaMelo Era, All They Needed Was Some Depth And Better Role Players Outside Their Star Players, Now They Have That Just Need Ball And Mark To Stay Healthy, They Can Make The Playoffs If They Do….
Tre Mann, Micic, Grant Williams, Keyontae Johnson, Seth Curry, Taj Gibson, Cody Martin, Nick Smith Jr, Nick Richard’s, KJ Simpson, Raquan Battle, Harry Giles, Josh Green, Moussa Diabete
as a magic fan i actually like what the hornets are building, brandon miller will be a PROBLEM, if melo is healthy hes already a problem, i like the josh green pickup for basically free (i think? i forget the whole trade so i could be wrong there), i actually like salaun lmao, hes moreso a long term vision like you said, wont be amazing right away but i love his energy and size also i like his shot form even if it didnt rly go in, jus gotta have health on ur side with melo and mark williams, i like the coaching hire as well, i think if melo/williams are healthy they can def be a play-in seed which will be great for the core to get that experience and shows ur rly heading in the right direction which i think you are, hope the coaching staff instills a culture and rly gets things rolling :D oh yea miles bridges w.e i hate him but yea lmao
If they all stay healthy, this team is a problem for any team on any regular season night. Not ready for a seven game series against a physical veteran team just yet, but they look damn good!
Question, why do yall hornets fans always have to separate LaMelo and Brandon?? Where one can be the franchise player and not the other??, where one can be an All-NBA or All-Star but not the other. Last I checked in this league, you need 2 All-NBA Caliber players if your gonna win anything...just my observation🤔
People need to stop trying to make this a thing. Luka is about to get a $60 million a year extension, Kyrie is still getting paid, Klay is getting $20 million, and the entire team is capped for salary. So how exactly are they going to pick up one of the highest salary players in the league? GTFOH with the clickbait stuff. Giannis would be AWESOME on Dallas, but it's not going to happen.....even if he wanted to come and Milwaukee wanted to get rid of him.
A team with all that talent shouldn't be "sneaky" but I think that sweep is fooling a lot of people about how bad they actually are. Their bench is clearly better, no longer dragged down by Drew Eubanks who was a whopping -108 for the season despite how much playing time he got. The coaching staff was assembled more carefully, no more two-headed coach with apparently the two heads fighting with each other. Less turnovers will lead to less problems on transiion defense, and if you shore that up then suddenly they're flirting with a Top 10 defense. I don't think the size issue is a real concern, on the bench there's a lot of length between Bol, Oso, Dunn, and Mason. I also expect a Top 4 finish, but I think they're good enough to fight with OKC, Minny and Dallas for the top seed. The west is just so much weaker now with Denver, LAL. GSW and LAC falling off. I don't think SAC and NOP did enough to close the gap, and I also don't think Houston is ready for the next step either. That flameout they had at the end of the season set off a warning bell for me and I don't think their offseason was good enough to inspire all this confidence that people had for them. At best I could see Houston as a 6 seed.
This is a great team, but I think, they need one more wing player. Dorian Finney Smith from the Nets. DFS for Grayson Allen. We need a bigger wing to help Guard AD, Luka, Tatum. You can’t ask KD to do everything again
@@wolfehayley3464 The ultimate irony is that a team that people think has no defense, drafted a player who is elite on defense, said to be the best rookie defensive prospect in years as a matter of f act, but can't shoot for shite.
I’m a die hard suns fan and it’s sad that we have even say things like “ sneaky good team”. We’re a championship or bust team and we’re nowhere close to a championship. We need to blow it up. Trade with the rockets to get our picks back and tank for Flagg. The Durant Booker era didn’t work
But we’re really not a championship team cause we have no championship rings period and to be honest you can’t just throw a team together and win it’s not been done since Micheal Jordan bulls and warriors with Kd
@@gitworldyoungworld1127Not really. The Bulls and the Warriors built through the draft and added one key piece through trade. As a Suns fan, we fell victim to "new owner syndrome", where the most inexperienced man in the league decides to take the biggest swing. KD and Booker could and does work, but the Bradley Beal trade to top it might've been one of the stupidest trades in Suns history. Instead trading for complimentary pieces, we tried to do a 2021 Nets and blew it.
Nothing and I mean nothing new to post or talk about man it’s so dead in the NBA right now. That all changes October 4th tho so stay tuned big stuff coming
Im so fed up with everyone calling Kcp a role player and a defensive player. Like stfu. Not what I saw all year last year specially during playoffs. Starting 5 who can’t give 10 points on any given night with a mediocre defense and he’s a role and key player? Gtfo with that bs.
I don’t see it lol no big improvement in roster all relying on player growth for Cade and duren but what if they don’t pan out to be all star talent like the potential suggest
As much as I like seeing Harris back in Detroit, I was hoping he'd stay in Philly or sign to another contender where he could win a title as a role player.
Can nuggets still contend... Not with Jamal Murray. Unfortunately, Jokic is stuck in this piss-poor, cheap, lying disgusting franchise. Hopefully, he'll DEMAND A TRADE, and get out that death-trap.
Idk where you’re getting your info from. Last season Kyrie averaged 25.6 pts, 49.7 fg%, 41 3pt %, 90 free throw %. Last season his stats were better than 2016. Go look.
