Hi friends, thanks for the continued support! People often ask how they can help me with my work, but can't commit to a Patreon subscription. Watching and sharing my videos is more than enough of a contribution, however if you are someone who would like to help fund one of my 'free' clean up jobs without signing up to anything, I now have a 'Buy Me a Coffee' page. You can donate $5 or more if this is something which interests you :) www.buymeacoffee.com/bladematelL Kind regards Sean
Love it when you unearth sidewalks, driveways, brick and stone garden beds! Another successful archeological project! Can't wait to see what surprises the backyard is hiding. 😎
What you did for that man was a blessing to him and his happiness and gratitude is a blessing for you. Great job! I’m not Australian, but I appreciate what you do for your community and for your military service!
I would be terrified of snakes in that yard....you're a brave man . You also show tremendous empathy for the sick and elderly. Wish the world had more people like you.
Shawn thank you so much for your kindness, your military service, and for being the man of integrity you show us. You are a shining example for us all.
This is a beautiful property. It is definitely overgrown but as a person grows older they don’t always have help to keep things under control. Thank goodness for angels amoung us.
Wonderful transformation. I wish a garden club would come and fix all the flower beds with no maintenance plants and bulbs just to give him one more look at what he'd created. Can't wait to see the rest!
A fantastic job, Sean and delighted to hear the owner's reaction. He's got his front garden back and sounds like he really appreciated your effort. It obviously gave you a right buzz too - that's a great thing to see.
I know what it's like to grow older and not be able to do the things that you loved and took so much pride in. Bless you for giving him the chance to see his garden the way it used to be.
As a professional licensed snake catcher business owner in greater Sydney. I would definitely ask if your local licensed snake catcher to be there when your doing the back yard. As there will be snakes under that tin or in the shed. They will be grumpy and want to bite anything due to the vibration your going to do. It’s not a risk that you or the owner wants to take. We have previous done what you did for this client as no other company would mow our customers lawn due to the risk. That was amazing transformation Sean. Love your videos.
Why wouldn't I watch to the end? When I can watch a handsome hunk work in the garden!!!! You are a great guy with a great big heart who cares about people in his neighbourhood we need more like you. Great job and video.... Roll on the next phase. 👏👏👏💯👍👍👏👏👏💯💯🇬🇧😃
Brother I know the feeling I personally get when I cut other's grass for them... I have cut my 5 neighbors yards for over 15 years and never charged them a dime... I was disabled early in life and can walk but slow now... So I bought a riding mower and I still cut three of the yards to this day... It gives me something to do and helps them out... Who wants to mow grass after they get off work or lose a day cleaning the yard on their day off so I just mowed the entire end of the block and everyone is the happier for it... I never have to ask if I want or need anything I am always being asked by neighbors if I ever need anything just shout out... I don't do it for money I do it to help others and that my friend is a feeling money can't buy... Great Job and my hat is off to you sir...
I will continue to say it Sean, you are an angel covered in grass clippings!❤ your dedication and attention to detail is second to none; you deserve every bit on the home owners praise and then so much more. Be well, from Washington state USA.
So sad, that garden has clearly been his pride and joy in the years gone by. Well done on getting it under control 👍 Can’t wait for the back yard. Will you be wearing your Indiana Jones hat? 😉
that may not actually be the case .... as the street driveway is 20 years of neglect ... i think this was a parent's house he inherited .... and the yard hold ' bad blood '.... just a thought
Oh my, saw part II, before part one. So very kind of you. Can only imagine how beautiful it must have been. You sure have it looking nice now. Can see really why he is so appreciative. 👍👍
Quite an archaeological dig on this one. Finding the driveway, I had NO idea it was even there. Those garden beds were obviously once a source of great joy. Great job Sean👏👏💯💯
Thank you. I can imagine his smile and tears in his eyes seeing the front look good. I imagine the gardens would have been filled with colour once, it is wonderful that you took this job on. I really can't wait to see the back yard and what treasures you might uncover!!!!
Oh my, you could have played some Ode To Joy overtop of this one because this once loved garden is again seeing the light of day! My favorite project to date! ONWARD!
Im loving what you are doing with this yard. As an older woman, l hate the word elderly, l have some words for you. Im gonna be 70 shortly and l still do most of my two acres. Its a very good thing you do for people like this gentlman. Its very obvious you love what you are doing and the way you do it. If you didnt like it lm also sure you wouldnt be doing it. So when people, like me, try tell you how or what you should be doing just smile at em and keep on keepin on. Youre doin a wonderful job. I love your other channel too. Thank you for being you.
Every time I see one of these videos, I always wonder about the neighbors. Growing up we were taught to help those who needed it and now, as an adult, I do what I can to help my neighbors even though it's a completely different place and time. The fact that these properties aren't maintained at least a little by those in the neighborhood saddens me. They are very lucky to have you, Sean.
HOLY wow !!!! Towards the end I was marveling at the transformation and imagining how the elderly gentleman was going to feel when he saw it. Your words at the end, about his reaction, made my heart overflow. How wonderful. God bless you, Sean.
Wow!!!! Amazing transformation so far! I can just imagine how happy you're making that old man. There's a lot of stress seeing something get out of your control and being faced with it every day. I bet you're lifting the weight of the world off his shoulders, Sean. Can't wait to see how the rest goes!
Wow! Job Well Done. We can only imagine what a relief this gentleman may feel having the landscaping he created being cared for now. Let him know he is being thought of today from Rockville Minnesota. ❤️
"Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee". Giving of your time and talent is a gift beyond anyone's expectation. May many see this and be inspired to give what they have been given.
Oh my goodness here we go again. 😊 Anticipation!!! So good. Thank you for your kindness to all of these people. As an older person who can no longer physically do these tasks I ask God's blessings on you. 🙏💖
It's at yards like this where, while I appreciate your hard work and also your economical way to make the best profit, I wish I was rich enough to hire someone to help you out. Much respect to you and your work ethic. Thank you for making my viewing so enjoyable.
Thanks heaps! I can afford help, and sometimes I call in back up, like in my last clean up video :) I'm happy to chip away at it in my own time though. It's just a battle of wills
Let me start off by saying I usually watch videos without sound because usually my husband is asleep and Lord knows I lose my headphones more times than I can count! I’m watching this awesome video of yours and seriously couldn’t figure out why everyone was driving in the wrong side of the road…yep hadn’t ever listened to one of your videos with sound. Needless to say I turned the sound up to figure out if you had an accent. I happened to turn it up at the beginning and my husband who is dead ass asleep pops his head up and says “Babe why are you using my weed eater?!” And goes back to sleep….. it has to be a guy thing! Thanks for all the good work you do!
I usually don’t comment, but I thank you for your kindness and compassion especially for the elderly. The world needs more people like you. From Chicago, Illinois 🇺🇸 PS: I try to always watch the full ads and not skip them.
I had a good laugh when I saw your Patreon offers a discount if a year is paid in advance. I'd gladly pay 20% MORE a year than the regular subscription cost! I, too, suffer with my mental health and listening to your struggles and watching how you do what you are able anyway helps me not be so hard on myself. Great attitude, awesome videos, invaluable compassion and care. Thanks, Sean!! Cheers!
Hide your women and children! Sean is about to go into BEAST mode! Great job sir! There are only two channels that I watch commercials on and this is one of them. You have a big heart. Words of praise are always good to hear, you take pride in your work and you deserve them. Well done!
Sean the joy you give to those who cant do things for their self anymore is absolutely priceless. You are most definitely an angel on this earth, I'm looking forward to seeing the next video on the backyard.
inspiring mate. watching these has really got me looking out for overgrown yards around my place with the intention of offering to help clean them up for people.
That's a wonderful act of kindness Sean, helping out the needy in such a way that must relieve a lot of stress from their lives. In addition to being a blessing to the homeowner, God blesses your community and nation due to this type of good works (not to mention, blessings upon youself). Your efforts are making this world a better place to live.
You've made a huge difference in this man's life both psychologically and safety wise, preventing possible fall. He might even get some visitors now they feel safe coming to visit.
The lantana overgrowth is incredible. I love using it in the mid-south USA because it does so well in the summer heat, and I have seen it grow into 4 foot x 4 foot clumps, but have never seen it take over a yard like that (although we have vines that will). The first part looks great!
With every swipe you make with the weed eater. You uncover bricks and cement borders. This is a great hard working video. May God send you blessings. For showing your love of helping others. Thanks a lot for doing this for the gentleman.
Good job. I can only imagine how much breezier and cool that yard has become. On a side note, Australia must have unlimited material to make concrete. Every job you do, there is loads of it.
Please don’t apologize for feeling good about this man appreciating your work! You worked really really hard and you deserve to feel good about what you’ve done for this man. You’re a good guy with a heart of gold. Love from Wisconsin USA 🇺🇸🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love hearing about the plants. I was a passionate gardener before becoming disabled, now I live though videos. I used to be the person in my neighborhood to take care of my older neighbors’ lawns and tree care/removal. It is a labor of love.
Sean, such a huge difference. When we're younger we have a beautiful property with flower beds and enjoy taking care of them, then we get older and can't keep up with them and it makes us sad. So glad you put a smile on the owners face. While watching this I was thinking about how good you were making the owner feel and it made me smile.
Great, difficult job achieved, as usual, Sean. Obviously, it used to be a lovely garden. Thanks for making it somewhat closer to what it used to be. I hope the nasturtiums regrow in a more orderly fashion.
Best use of the 1812 Overture ever and I know you use it on every video and I always adore it but this time it brought tears to my eyes. The gentleman clearly loved his garden and I'm sure it was a source of pride, love, joy and contentment to him that time and age tried to steal away. Thank you for giving it all back to him and I very much look forward to the next session. Thank you so much!
Wow, that sure is an overgrown mess. The poor old chap that lives there, must have felt so sad looking out at that mess. Good on you for coming to his rescue. Watch from Nelson New Zealand.
haha I remember diving into lantana as a kid with my brother to help break it down and remove it for a fire break from the house in summer.. thank god wasnt blackberries in there to .Really looking forward to the end result on this one.
Would just like to say that I love what you do. Using your skills/abilities/knowledge to make the lives of others better is what I have always believed to be the meaning of life. Some people never know until it's too late. You are a gleaming example of how the world should be. I would also like to thank all your patreon supporters and viewers who may not be able to help in the first person but are helping someone help others. It helps to keep the faith going that the human race is not doomed. I would also like to thank you for your service to our country past, present and future
You have the BEST reveals on RU-vid! You can see that this was a well loved and cared for yard at one time. He must be so thrilled with the results. You're awesome Sean!
It looks like there are going to be a lot of surprises with this place. No clue at all why you were suddenly slicing up a lawn, and then driveway strips appear. You start trimming the front and edging emerges... Where we live, Nasturtiums would be a miracle and that man has a whole yard full. Have heard Lantana can be bad, first sight of what that means. Glad he had a friend helping out and your recovery work will last a long time. This can be listed as astounding. You really earned your victory music. Thank you to the people who sent the protective gear.
Hey, Doll. Just an idea here: Why don’t you share the homeowner’s reaction now and then. I’d love to see that!!! I realize that maybe they wouldn’t want to be on camera, but, heck, you never know!!! Love your work ethic for someone so young!!! Love you as a loving human being trying to help others!!!❤️
Oh my goodness Sean! That was amazing! Truly deserved praise from a very grateful man who couldn’t do this work himself. Triumphant music at the end for a another incredible job! Who knew there was a driveway in that nature strip!
Struth, I think I need a beer after watching that one and by the looks of the back yard, I'm going to need a case. Your Client's adulation is thoroughly deserved Sean.
Wow, who knew that driveway and path were under there! Clearly an amazing garden once upon a time and it’s so lovely for the gentleman to have it cleared up again. You’re such a star doing this work. No wonder he was very grateful. Keep going Sean, you’re amazing.
Sean when a place is so overgrown as this do you ever ask the owner if he has a photo of what it was like when cared for. Just so you have an idea of obstructions that maybe there.? You do a wonderful job.
Sean, you leave me in awe! Each video shows us a bit more of who you are, and you are amazing! You could pick easy jobs for the free ones, but instead you choose people who need you the most, regardless of the size of the job. Keep doing what you’re doing, you have it all figured out! Much respect from California, USA.
Sean you are a brilliant for doing this for this elderly man. Keep up the great work can't wait to see you transform the rest of his garden. Love all your videos
