Ehh sorta. He’s right he is getting knowledge checked however , he called yoshi cheesy at the end , that was negative . It’s true yoshi has a lot of gimmicks and tricks but he used them in precision regarding mixups and combos. It wasn’t cheesy at all . A lot of People say something is cheesy when they don’t know how to fight back.

Somehow losing to a good Yoshi is just not as frustrating as losing to a lot of other gimmicky characters. You can see the effort that went into perfecting that PhD level character lol.

It’s muscle memory. It’s not so much being built for it, just being willing to lose games in order to create new habits. I’ve lost 10-15 games intentionally in order to create muscle memory for inputs that won me 20 games later on.

He's one of those characters you have to lab. Once you find out most of his pressure is fake you can punish him easily. This Yoshi is just doing knowledge checks on Lil Majin, and Lil Majin doesn't know the match up. Lil Majin ran into Yoshi's poison breathe way too many times and he could have ducked the soul calibur spin move. Also doesn't help the Yoshi player is really good with stance transitions which makes it very hard to punish him.

@@averyy529 tekken ain’t difficult it’s the new mechanics of a person that can just keep pressing buttons no down time, yoshimitsu moves being erratic beating out most characters hit boxes and that juggling. That’s why the best tekken imo is 6 no juggling none of these scrub mash mechanics and definitely no combo starters off lows

Also, hes going up against LilMajin in this video which is also a tekken tournament vet. This yoshi beat him clean. Dont know what u talking about homie

Yoshimitsu was always one of the strongest characters in all of the Tekken Series, he has the most moves which makes the difficulty insane to learn, but as a benefit, much less predictable.

He's always ranked low because he doesn't have the meta game of good pokes in previous games. But now he's more fundementally sound. The thing is, you don't play Yoshimitsu in a fundemental way. A lot of his moves are situational and shenanigans, so I've always felt he's impossible to rate since he can lose to average players and outsmart talented players.

You taught me how to adjust the mentality from winning stride, to be able to learn again. You taught me how to be humble and not freak out. Nah he's been using the poison as a way to negate armor and the fact that he has such immaculate spacing knowing that not only king has to get in but that he has the better range and doesnt need to rush with the life lead and match point lead shows just how scary this Yoshi is. All while Majin hasn't really put as much time into practicing set ups and matchups like I'm sure these ppl have, but is still doing his best as one of the top Tekken players in the world.

That yoshi was cracked I start seeing him fly and immediately go for the grab but idk if that would still apply in higher ranks I’m crawling through red ranks atm. Same for ling, when she turns around or takes a stance in front of me I go for the sole crusher I think it’s called (u/f,3+4) to crush all those pokes. You’re the reason I thug it out after all the loses. Thanks man I learned tons from you

At 13 minutes -- when you counter hit him with the Db3 -- I'm pretty sure you can get a ground throw off in almost all situations. At least that's what I've been doing. I think I only missed once with that.
