Time lapse filmed by Neil Bromhall in my studio over a period of 4 days.
Thistles flowers are mostly purple but I found a paler variety which I thought was very attractive and so wanted to see how the flowers open. I hoped the seeds would ripen but the flower head wilted before the seeds developed.
