You made it look so easy. They look just like the Little Debbie brownies, amazing! I can not wait to try them. I know for sure all my children would enjoy them. I would need to make 2 batches. One without the walnuts. My 7 yr old is allergic.
They really turn out so well each time! Jarred isn't terribly fond of walnuts (or nuts in baked goods, generally) so we make them without walnuts when he's home and they're still just as good!
I'd say they last a week or so in the fridge. There is a note on the recipe link where Taryn (joyfilledeats) says they can be kept in the freezer or the fridge. I've tried putting half of the brownies in the freezer and the other half in the fridge, but I'm not the only one who loves these so a whole batch is gone before a week is up! Thanks for watching!
Love the egg tip. I put off making recipes because I don't think to leave my eggs out to reach room temperature. Making these today. What tweeks do you make to skinny chocolate?
That egg tip changed how I bake, for sure! I add vanilla, salt, and I sometimes will add a little chipotle powder for some heat. I also almost double the cocoa powder and ad a few drops of liquid stevia. I'm getting some cocoa butter soon and I'm going to be playing around with a shelf stable "skinny chocolate".
Did not even finish watching the video and I already have half a batch in the oven(I did not have a lot of chocolate and also have to only make1/4 of the ganache because I only had 4oz)
Lindsey Murphy i normalt dont like thm snerts because of the sweetener aftertaste, but these are great. Next time I will toast the nuts a bit beforehand though
I put 1 cup granulated erythritol with ½ tsp powdered stevia into one of my single serve blender cups and blend it until it’s a fine powder like powdered sugar.
this sounds very interesting because i seem to be spending a lot on gentle sweet. can i ask what brands do you use in your home made? where do you purchase& do you find it to be cheaper than the gentle sweet? thanks so much for the video. these look amazing. just starting THM & really missing chocolate 😊
Hi Lindsey! Just started THM 2 months ago and just discovered your channel. I am wondering if you can make Gentle Sweet with Xylitol instead of erythritol and would it be the same ratio?
