@@kiiturii Yeah, it does. Sadly, I really like this boss, but the content is pretty old, so Undersized Parties can destroy him pretty quick. Even synced, it'll still be quick due to current item levels
@@Lukeormaybenath yeah back then I didn't know about undersized parties. I like doing things synced but it's pretty much impossible sadly. Spent nearly 3 hours every day for 3 days staight in queue for titan extreme and when I finally got in there were 4 people who were in blind so it was kind of a mess lol

Did Bismarck Ex a Week ago and Ravana Ex today. Ravana is way harder due to the amount of stuff you have to keep in mind. (My view comes from a dps, so I don't know how hard it is to deal with dmg on Tanks etc. as a healer or the mechanics as a tank).
Just did it as a healer, wasn't to bad as a i234 SCH. If possible, healers should lend a hand when the adds come up, they'll leave swords that give Ravana bonus attacks aside from his ult. Yet to do it as WAR, will have to give it a try.
Just did This fight for the first time today. I can imagine it being difficult as all hell if you sync to min il, however doing it in duty finder and outgearing it the entire fight was a joke, the boss spends so much time doing nothing and takes so much damage that you dont even see half of the fight. Edit: Just wanting to add that I have yet to tackle the other ex's. I imagine Sephirot Would be quite difficult even when outgeared just cause of how punishing he is, just that dps is a non issue.
Or I could just lay down and cry in front of Ravana. He'll sweeten up right? My SMN is an ilvl 185. I don't think I should step into this fight yet, maybe ilvl 195?
My FC and I got the clear two days after this post, got my SMN to ilvl 190 at the time and we all cleared it. Great fight! Much easier to understand this guide when running the fight. I'm now an ilvl 205 and working on my Thordan EX clear! :)
I counted 11 swords on the enrage. If they don't kill you, Chandrahas still will. And the maximum stack on Vulnerability up is 8. I found that out when I used rampart before bloody fuller finished casting the second time.
Your way of handling double prey is usually mandatory (at least, in the runs I did) if you have one or two warriors, since Holmag can't get Ravana after first prey, since he's untargetable. Paladins and Dark Knight can use hallowed ground/living dead after first prey hits.

Has anyone noticed that double prey mechanic seems to be bugged as of the last week's maintenance? I'm doing solo tank runs practically every day for my FCmates and slower static members and this is driving me nuts, and nobody seems to have posted in the forums bug reports about it either. It seems that about 50%-75% of the time, even if the prey is taken off the target who moved to A or C, ravana will still hit them when they're in the middle(safely) for 20k+ Literally they'll be surrounded by other people in the middle(didn't travel across any purple circles on their way there either, so can't be server lag on their position) and be the only one that gets hit. Prey was of course, taken off of them practically right after the charge towards them by someone camping nearby so it can't have been that it was too late, yet they still get hit and die. Naturally we still clear because of good healers, but it's annoying as hell.
+Dan Tapia Migueles That's true but after he did double prey, it comes before Tapasya so best to have OT next to MT all the time, and they both run into safety when Tapasya is used.

Im from Behemoth and i kinda notice you there with a dragon mount short after early acess, so im curious. Do you see the story Mizz? If not, whats the point to rush content only to beat what is there first than everyone? Just saying cause the story is such a bless in this expasion, its even better than some FF single games.

Felipe Medeiros I enjoyed the whole story and got to 60 with dragon mount just after early access ended. If you went hard you could finish content and enjoy the story pretty easily, tbh.
Felipe Medeiros : I was able to enjoy the story, do most of the side quests {Some I saved to help level other classes}, and have a 60 kitted out in i179 with Bismarck Ex down. So... Enjoy it at your own pace, sure. Just don't come down on those of us that are faster paced than you.
I'm sure you might've figured it out, but I'll tell ya :P There's a set rotation, given that Ravana is never interrupted by the Seeing _____ moves, like left, right. wings. It should go, from beginning, Blinding Blade, maybe Atma Linga, that combo move that the tank can't avoid on first hit, atma linga, repeat. So basically, if your guys are coordinated, you should face Ravana towards party every single time after that combo that the tank can't avoid for the first hit.

Andrew Fuentes Yeah my feelings exactly. This seems complicated to look at first and if you are not with your static, you can NEVER beat this unless it has passed like 5 months or so. Kinda like Ramuh ex back then, but this is much worse.
Grats! :D I'm not currently active on the game. I love it but once I hit a grind I halt. I do want to beat BisEX, though it's fairly low on my priority list at the moment.
