Wow you're fucking lucky (No pun intended), This song is so underrated as a B-Side and it has so much feeling in it, it kind of reminds me of last flowers.
Thom is physically incapable of writing a bad song now. Its just ridiculous! People say The Beatles are the greatest band of all time, but if they continue like this, Radiohead will far outshine them (in my own opinion, they have already)
You know, I didn't quite like the sound of this song at first....but now, I dont know, it might be my favorite of his 'new' ones.....really grows on ya
@DeadontheThrone It's funny, 'cause I read all the reviews I could find shortly after listening to it a few times, and it was about an even split between people who though the first four songs were fantastic and then the album dies, and people who loved the latter four but didn't like the first. I am looking forward to the next album, 'cause I think it's gonna be amazing, but I do like this one a lot.
where's the truth what's the use I'm hanging around lost and found And when you're here innocent Fat chance, no plan no regard for human life you'll keep time, you've no right you're fast to lose, you will lose you jumped the queue, you're back again President for life, love of all The flies in the sky, the beasts of the earth the fish in the sea have lost command
This song will also be on their B-side single called Separator. There will be four songs. but I can't disclose the fourth song yet until TKOL physical release ;)
@josgentry Lovely comment and I agree with you 100 percent, sometimes I can also see glimpses of Radiohead in thoms/jonnys/phils solo material. They all insipiration to eachother.
Maybe they'll release something extra with the boxset? A couple more songs to surprise? This is possible considering the last song on the album is called 'Separator' (perhaps separating this from the extra half the album?), and one of the lines is: 'If you think this is over then you’re wrong'. Meh maybe I'm over thinking this :)
@MrSikzak "the best new song from him so far" is what i say everytime He(or Radiohead) comes up with a new song , ever since.... I heard them the first time. :D
@josgentry Especially phil and colin. They play bigger roles than johnny and ed for sure! The percussion and bass are so much more important in the king than the bends.
@Thomosexual I partially agree with you. I think the first half of the song isn't quite as strong as his other songs, but the last half is so powerful in my opinion. It'll be interesting to see if he tweaks it at all over time.
@deadonthethrone saying this is a sequel to the eraser is very exaggerated. it definitely has elements from the eraser, but this is in no way a solo effort from thom. listen closely, (which ALL radiohead fans should know how to do), and you can hear different sounds and influences that each member brings to this album. johnny's orchestration is included, as well as ed's always beautiful atmospheric backing guitar. and colin and phil add demensions that thom can't find alone. this is radiohead.
Ugh, thank you for letting me know! I just checked! It was my old homepage which I don‘t even have anymore! I just tried to delete the link but it doesn‘t work from my iphone >_< I‘ll try to delete it from a friends pc asap.
