I really hope he dose some movies in the U.S. and I really hope the Hollywood system lets him be him.

Right now he's doing Tinker Tailor Solidie Spy with Gary Oldman. Can't wait!!

Oskar being bullied IS a horror story, in my opinion. It just so happens to be a story that millions also experience in their lives.

@Inferiorist It's my favorite as well. I watched it here on YT---with The Theatrical subtitles. I have the dubbed version , but I'm going to buy the subtitled version (theatrical subs, of course) as soon as I can!!

love this guys personality and how he doesnt le fame get fo him, yea hollywood should be beging him to do horror and suspense movies! oh and btw love his glasses!

what a great movie! Really is the best movie I've seen in a long long time better than Avatar for sure!

@Theaterg15 I loved this movie from the start and got my family hooked. my biggest problem in sharing this amazing movie with anyone is that people do see it but most likely with the atrociously awful English dubbing. a movie like this needs to be heard in its original language..

@youdickhed Just cause its not scary doesn't mean its not a horror movie. Horror can just mean supernatural such as vampires. I think to reduce the horror genre to a genre about things that scare you is a bit ugh, I think its more something that explores the darker themes, and DOES have a creepiness to them even if its not scary, its kind of hard to explain.

@edotdeeney This is very true. But I belive that if he has more support and a bigger budget, he would make films more often or more easily,,, ? Btw, His brother Daniel Alfredson, is making the 2nd and 3rd movie of the Millennium books. The Girl With The Dragon Tatto was awesome. and like Let Me In Hollywood is alredy doing a americanisation of them.... :(

@laurelfan1 playing a blood sucking immortal creature of the night is no easy for anyone of young age, but i'd say Lina pulled it off flawlessly

@bubba485 I can't wait until you get a chance to finish reading it. It's well worth it. I agree with you about Lina too Chloe seems like she's a bit stuck-up and egotistic. LTROI was Lina's first film and she did a an incredible job! I know what you mean about LMI. Even though I knew it was going to be horrible, I had to see bc I love LTROI so much, if that makes any sense. :D

@laurelfan1 I've started reading the novel, but I've been mega busy lately to keep reading it. but so far it is pretty good :) And you're right, LTROI is far superior to LMI, I'm just so much of a fan of the LTROI legacy I couldn't resist buying it. It's complicated. I'd rather meet Lina Leanderson, the girl who played Eli in LTROI, than Chloe Moretz, the girl who played Abby in LMI, because she seems more down to earth.

@laurelfan1 I have this suspicion that Lina is going to be more successful than Chloe, I mean very few child and teen actors and actresses gain that much fame and win big time awards and nominations for their first major league film performance like Line and Kare did, and Kare has since starred in another film. I can't wait for Lina to star in another film, she's just... WOW!!!

@bubba485 That's cool. I really don't like the remake. I think the special effects are a bit much. I suppose it would be an OK movie, had I not seen LTROI first, but there is no comparison. I'm a HUGE LTROI fan and I cannot separate the two films. In other words, I cant watch the remake without thinking about LTROI. I think LMI is horrible, but that just my personal opinion :D Have u read the book yet? It's It's FANTASTIC!!!

@LaLunalovegood Awesome, but its not what offends me, you would have to achieve something special to offend me (asshole wont do... not very original) The term I would use is Irritate. It is irritating that a film like this will be remade into the english language as a direct cash in, and further more, that there is an audience that REQUIRE that the film makers go hollywood before they will attend their movies, and it is my privilege to criticize those who perpetuate such a tragic practice.
