While we were linking up with the Scott-SRAM Team at Cape Epic 2023 to have a closer look at Nino Schurter’s race bike, we took the opportunity for a quick chat with Mountain biking legend Thomas Frischknecht and his son Andri who is racing alongside Nino and holds the yellow Leader’s Jersey after 4 Stages!
Thomas is riding his 11th Epic this year, competing in the Grand Masters category.
We quizzed Andri on the experience of racing alongside Nino and got some wisdom from Thomas ‘Frischi’ on tackling the final days of the Epic.
