the MIAMI VICE pilot is a MASTERPIECE. to quote Philip Michael Thomas of MV fame "without Thomas Carter there is no early magic to MIAMI VICE. without Thomas Carter, there maybe is no MIAMI VICE at all." thank you Thomas Carter
Damn. Never knew that the dude from The White Shadow directed the pilot episode of the greatest police drama ever to be shown on television. PLUS he created that iconic Phil Collins scene! What made that scene special was when Tubbs was loading his shotgun and you could hear the shells being loaded into the gun over the music. Fantastic!!
