Yet another brilliant interview with an amazing guest. There’s always something to learn about the guests who they’ve worked with their inspiration and just musical tidbits in general. Thomas Dolby is a LEGEND 🤩
Saw him and others at the Totally Tubular Festival in Laval, Quebec. Great show! He was the primary reason I went, driving all the way from New Hampshire, of course the others all worth seeing as well!
So exciting to see/hear one of my all time musical heroes being interviewed on my favourite podcast! Thanks for making it happen guys and a great interview as always. Really looking forward to seeing Thomas live in Manchester in August 😊
@@TheKeyboardChronicles I've seen Thomas perform 3 times over the years - the first time was way back in 1984 on 'The Flat Earth' tour (hard to believe it's 40 years!). The second time was around the release of 'Astronauts and Heretics' in 1992 - a great, intimate gig with an amazing band in a club in London called the Mean Fiddler, literally a 10 minute walk from where I lived at the time! Finally, I saw him do an entirely solo gig with all the technology, in Manchester around 15 years ago. Hopefully he'll make it back to Australia in the near future 🙂
