Does it make any difference the quality of The Bible is the word of God that changes lives

Im not a pastor or preacher but i want one of these Bibles. I like their format better with the references at the bottom rather than the normal Bibles with the references in the middle 🤷🏽‍♀️

SCR can be single column REFERENCE also known as single column text. SCT. And SCR is often side column REFERENCE. My favouritest bible is one of these. Like CLARION format but bigger page and FONT. With good margin AND gutter. Sort of frames the whole text and references. Also verse by verse format. 10.5 font size. I notice description on back of box usually lists font size last in list. I Think they know I will look there FIRST.

The format of preaching bible is a reasonable replica of Quentel. And at a pleasing price Esp in leather cover that lies open.

How would this Bible compare to Windsor large print? Which one has bolder font? I need a font that's less bold

How are the ribbons? Are they set straight under the head band? Cambridge always puts them in crooked or twisted. Thanks again. Pastor Brett

My only complaint about this Bible is the liner. It feels kinda paper-y

I like that it is not red letter! Would want in hardbound so it would last longer.

I like Nelson preaching bible best of those shown ..and I have one .but now like about 11 point font as I get older. Also NASB 95 from Lochman is 10.5 point . Schuyler Quentel and even Cambridge. Are good. My favourite is 1995 NASB in 10.5 point FONT SCR = Single column reference. AND Side Column Reference And 2020 NASB in about same font. But Schuyler seems to have a TRUE 11 POINT FONT. So I have THAT in NASB 95. And CSB. And Canterbury. But Nelson or Zondervan has great 36 GSM paper and colours inside like PREACHING bible but in RED mostly.

Great review and a great looking Bible, but it could use more margin space for notes. Why does Nelson include the Dedicatory to King James but leaves out the Translator Notes to the Reader?

My favorite bible Thomas Nelson came out with was KJV new Strongs Reference bible with full 749 page concordance. I wish they would re-release it. But without red letterings.

Could you please confirm advise, Is this Thomas Nelson Ministers bible, KJV, King James Version an Authorised King James Version AKJV? Are the Gospel Title in blue or red? The SOVEREIGN continues the RED motif into the verse #s. PREACHING bible has basic BLUE in hilites and verse #s.

Mine catches. It bends up the card stock and last few pages. Thankfully it was under a $100.00 and not a major investment.

I made it to about 6:20 before I had enough information. I'll share it with you, and your viewers in hopes that you amazing people can make an informed decision together. 1. The leather isn't premium, though likely genuine. The strip used on the binding in this video should have been rejected because of the scar on the back in the upper right hand corner. If this was a couch, you could expect a little scarring. It's even considered charming in fine furniture. But this isn't a couch and book-binding is a entirely different art. 2. Synthetic leather inside. No. 3. No raised bands. Just some silly prints of what should be raised bands. What's even the point? It's like a cheap child's toy, just with premium prices. 4. Single threaded headbands and footbands, though I could only catch a glimpse around 6:10. I'd dissect it, but from looking at everything else so far, I can take a fairly educated guess. So at this point we can say this binding is absolute garbage. The craftsmanship is garbage. The choice of materials was garbage. The words inside are priceless, and always will be when they're in the proper arrangement, but those same exact words can be got in a dollar store for a single dollar. 5. It's made in China. It's not just a political or spiritual thing. It's also a quality thing. Please understand, brother's in Christ, we're almost certain to go to war with China at some point in the future. We have absolutely nothing in common with them. They worship false idols, false Gods, they love communism and tyranny, they have a culture of lying, and so much other mischief that a martial conflict is inevitable. Look at how aggressive they are on the world stage. They have set themselves up to be direct competitors with the God-blessed USA. So you may as well stop funding the enemy right now. You're just buying the very guns that they're going to be shooting at your children or grandchildren, and you're funding the bribes that are being used to cool your allies and heat your enemies. Sit down and reason it out for yourselves. This is not an opinion. It's about what IS and what ISN'T. I have to be honest with everyone here, this binding is junk and you can do a whole lot better for the same price, or very near to it. You wont pay a whole lot more for a premier binding from France, Ireland, London, or even the USA. Sending money to China is like sending money to the beast himself.

Appreciate your minister brother. A quick question. I like a very flexible lambskin, goatskin or ironed calfskin. I'm considering investing in a Nelson "Preaching Bible." You mentioned it is a little stiff at first. I've heard the black was even more stiff. Is it stiff like for example French Morocco or Genuine leather when they first open or just not as flexible as for example lambskin? Thanks again for all you do

Do you know of any high-quality KJV bible in paragraph format? I have a pastor friend who doesn’t use the KJV but would like one in paragraph format. I prefer verse by verse but he doesn’t.

I'm looking at options for a good, easy to read, preferably verse-by-verse format, edge lined, smyth sewn, 36-38 gsm paper (preferably cream color), KJV Bible. I really like this Preaching Bible. I will probably go with it. However, is there any KJV Bible that you would consider better than this one which meets my criteria? I only wish this had a less modern looking print and a slightly more cream colored paper, maybe even a softer cover (with a real leather liner), that lays flat at any part of the text? I think I've been ruined by my RL Allan NASB Bibles. I just can't find a great KJV Bible. P.S. I don't want a study Bible. I would like it to be mostly just the text with any helpful material before and after Genesis and Revelation.

No thanks! Thomas Nelson bibles are corrupted with wirds changed, etc..... Also Harper Collins Publishing bought out Thomas Nelson Publishing in 2012. Harper Collins publishes the Satanic bible and The Joy of Gay Sex.
