@@Natie8412 You could say that. But Mario’s modern colors and other modern features we are familiar with today didn’t come until the late 80’s and early 90’s. Thomas on the other hand kept his iconic looks since 1945. (Or 1915 in the official canon)
An 8-bit pixel image can support up to 16 colours. I wonder if this pixel art can be classed as 8-bit? If not, then it doesn't matter since I think 8-bit is referring to the music, where 8-bits allows for 16 notes/sounds.
@@MinerBat Oops, you were right. 8 bits does make 256 unique combinations. So up to 256 individual colours means this art could be 8-bit. I feel embarrassed for making such a mistake.
