Merry Christmas, people of the Internet, and actually during Christmas this time! I was originally hoping to release it alongside TheJollyMariner's other story "Shepherding the Weak" last Christmas, but I had to push it back after one of my voice actors became a no-show and another pulled out. But thankfully, I was able to find a voice for Catherine in the end; Petey James here has done a wonderful job here, and I couldn't be more grateful for their help. Hope you enjoy it.
Christmas has arrived on the Mountain Railway, but Culdee's absence has left Catherine feeling anything but jolly. Eric tries to cheer her up, but nothing seems to work... except for one thing.

Love that the Mountain Engines got a focused story. Catherine hasn’t been explored as a character much, this was a nice in depth look at her state of mind.

Eric's enthusiastic over Christmas is appropriate and Catharine will find out that there's never any reason to lose hope. Culdee will return home. There's this to look forward to.

What a great story which takes place before the book "Mountain Engines" as Culdee is away for his overhaul, and Lord Harry is in charge of Catherine. It is also nice that Eric (No. 8) has a speaking role.

Glad to see the story making it to RU-vid. Stories about the Culdee Fell fascinate me because of how they didn't get much time to shine in in the books or the show. Overall this was a sweet story and one day called you would come back but those are stories for another day. Keep up the good work man and Merry Christmas!

Culdee never had an accident; he just needed an overhaul. Engine parts get worn down overtime, hence their need for an overhaul every number of years or so.

That was Autumn K singing as Catherine. Sadly, she wasn't able to complete any of the speaking dialogue, which is why Petey James took over.

@@FantasticMrSSingalong with Fantastic Mr. S and other stories. Merry Christmas! I don't know why but in the scene when Eric gets an idea it feels like the video was filmed in TANE because of the lighting and shadows on the walls.
