Spurs fan here....this guy, is just too cool, funny, and down to earth. No wonder Chelsea are flying right now. We just got Conte, I hope he can bring some of this back into our club. Great interview!!!
Didn't think Tuchel had this side to him. Looking in from the outside (as a Liverpool fan) he seemed extremely cold, strict and disciplinarian. This was lovely to see. Us (fans) are lucky to have Tuchel, Pep and Klopp coaching the best 3 teams in the league/world at the same time.
I think I misjudged this guy as a bit of a strict disciplinarian and maybe a bit difficult from his time at PSG but he is a gem of a bloke, from a Palace fan, Please can we keep Conor Gallagher, I will cook all your food for a year
I’m paraphrasing, but Tuchel was very recently asked about if we would try to recall Gallagher in January and he said that we will not. Said the situation Conor is in at Palace is really good for him and his development and it wouldn’t be right or beneficial to take him out of that. Also, it would be bad if Chelsea ever wanted to do a similar loan in the future to burn that bridge with Palace by taking one of their most important players out midway through the season.
Got sacked at dortmund partially because he spoke out in defence of his players after their bus got bombed and a match wasn't rescheduled(results played a part too) Got sacked at PSG even though he is their best coach in years by points-per-game, but he fell out with the Director, Leonardo, because Leonardo likes to work with full control and doesn't involve the coach in most decisions Dortmund situation was unique, but Chelsea are known to make smart transfer moves and always consult the coach first, so this situation is probably better for Tuchel
@@ardioriordan6228 He absolutely intended it - he just made it up on the spot which is awesome. Dude is switched on to do that off the cuff when he had no idea what rhyming slang was 5 mins early. Very Lemon Tart
Chelsea is highly blessed with Thomas Tuchel appointment, Chelsea should do whatever they can to keep Tuchel as long as possible, sadly we all know Abramovich is ruthless with managers, but Thomas Tuchel is unlike any other manager that Chelsea had before, he is definitely one of the best, if not, the best manager in the world
@@ihaveadream3321 For how good Jose was, there was always the controversy that went with him. We were already unlikeable from Roman's money and Jose cranked that up to another level. Looking at it now, he's never lasted in a job for that long so his tenure both times was probably about right for the type of personality and manager he is. At the moment everything feels joined up at Chelsea and whilst there is always a chance that won't last forever I think the club realise they have one of the very best coaches in world football who realistically they will not improve upon and Tuchel has a club that can provide him with the tools to compete for the top trophies but also the structure where he can enjoy and focus on coaching, rather than dealing with the drama like he had to at PSG and Dortmund.
I've been a Chelsea fan ever since I was a kid. I've seen our managers come and go. But Thomas Tuchel is absolutely my favourite one. Hope he stays for the long run. 🔵
Unfortunately, don't get your hopes up. It's not the Abramovich Chelsea way for a manager to stick around for more than 2 or 3 years, let's just enjoy this ride as much as we can!
@@franzreyes846 you do raise a good point but even abramovich has to realise by now he has a top 5 manager right now, like who would even replace my guy? Sam alladyce
@@user-hf1nw4ok8y Mourinho was possibly the best coach in the world in '06, he left as well. Roman and Marina will always be above the coach and there will come a time that relationships might break down because of that, we can't fault them, the formula has worked time and again
I see many Germans speak near perfect english and their accent is pretty good you can see Tuchel, Klopp, Ralf they all speak English in an amazing accent
Im a Liverpool fan but you got to love Tuchal . Great for the english game . Glad we have all the best managers in England and by far the best league in the world. God save the Queen.
German Managers and Germany Automobile Industry have one thing in common They always have a strong sense of philosophy in doing things and getting to much perfections
As a Utd fan i gotta say i love Tuchels attitude, personality and whole approach. V funny to watch a German lose it on the touch line too, proper fella!
The ONLY reason I support Chelsea these days is this guy! He's so cheerful, humble, good natured. Such a great break from other moaning, grumpy managers in the PL. You know who I'm referring to.
@@YoungMulaBaby808 the very same Liverpool that drew against the same Brentford team and Brighton? And even lost to West Ham?? Despite multiple (4-5) key players injured, Tuchel never once made any excuses. Can't say the same for Klopp complaining about the wind, grass or substitutions.
Fans really wondering how this guy constantly laughing, smiling and happy all the time!!! Lol, the guys on hundred grand a week!!! Anyone would be happy all the time lol!!
@@calinho7689 How is Tuchel seen in Germany, and the German takeover of English football generally? (Btw, Germany isn't portrayed badly in UK, quite the opposite.)
@@calinho7689 I have been a lot of times to Berlin bro ,I absolutely love that city. I do need to visit a lot more of Germany though I agree with you .
He seems to have a lot more charisma than his reputation suggests. He has been described as the opposite of Klopp. Rather more likely to skin his players alive for a mistake than give them a hug.
