Hello, this is a nice video, I was wondering if you could answer some questions for me about how to find this place? Since I don't drive I was planning on getting the local train to Grosmont station and then walking to Goathland station. From what I've read online about navigating to Thomason, you have to turn 'left at the pub and left again', but it doesn't say what the name of the pub is and I can't find it on google maps! If you could give me some insight of how to find that rocky road from, lets say, the Goathland visitors car park? That would be so super helpful, thanks
Hiya...coming from Goathland Station..head up towards the shops and then take a right, youll see a signpost for Beck Hole..follow the road and keep going till you come to the pub (Birch Hall Inn), go over the bridge and immediately afterwards there is a path that goes up a grass bank opposite a a small cottage...follow that and it will keep u right next to the river line till you hit the waterfall at the other end...be careful mind as its very slippy in places and the path drops down on to large boulders which u have to navigate round and over fallen logs etc..its not the easiest of paths to walk but once u get there its all worth it..
