I think his agent Ed Smith just made him play against the older people, similar to how OJ Mayo played against high schoolers while he was in middle school. I mean his younger brother is just one year younger than him but in the 2009 yearbook at Aranmore it had him at year 11 while his brother was at year 7. Not only is that a 4 year difference, but it also puts his brother two years older than his supposed age. So it seems logical that he just taking ESL classes and maybe one or two classes at a high school age so he could compete against higher schoolers.
