Based on the 9th Paasuram of Thiruppavai by Shri Aandal (7th Century CE ) composed by Shri. Ariyakkudi Ramanuja Iyengar (1890 - 1967 ) in raaga Hamir Kalyani, set to Aadi taalam ( 16 beat cycle )
