The Comb (Cells) are at an angle upwards ! (The cells that the Bees build out from that pre-made foundation* follow this.) Otherwise the honey Bees waste time altering it, or honey pours out if the Foundation doesn't fit in the right orientation !* Same applies if you cut Natural Comb and install into Frames*, eg Cut-Outs, or installing Natural Comb say from an Langstroth Frame into say a smaller National etc. Hope this helps. 😉 Happy Beekeeping 2022 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
Do you have an Australian distributor, or do I order from you? Also may I ask for the dimensions please, so that I can find the best place to fit these, many thanks, great idea/product!
@@ThorneBeehives Please may I have an email address so that I can ask some detailed questions and likely order your Section Squares. Need to have prices on this product please and other info, especially the end product package: Is it the entire section or is it "halved" into two (either side of the Foundation)? Do you package the comb with the timber or re-use it? I'll email my address when I have your details. Tried your website, but cannot find this product?
It's been a while since you asked but I thought I'd tell you what I know. You put several of these (I've seen 28 up to 80) in a super using a bracket system. Once in the hive the bees will draw out comb and fill it with honey. You then pull out whole thing and break out the individual sections to be packaged for selling.
Faded Polo not at all. We manufacture these at our Lincolnshire factory. The machines that make them are unique, we believe the only ones in the world. They are much easier to send out to customers flat packed.
