Probably never maintained a technique and fried his voice, thus focusing more on singing. Way she goes, bud lol. His voice is truly angelic either way tho.

I can agree Jacob is a very underrated vocalist he's in my top ten favorite male vocalist of all time in my opinion

This EP is so underrated, some killer lows on this track. Love ‘butterfly’ and I’m super keen to hear the debut album!

Overall I liked Butterfly and The Dark Pool a lot more than 13, but this song is great. His lows are really impressive, even more so because his higher range uncleans are so mediocre. There's some serious irony to the fact that he's so much better of a vocalist now, but those lows are few and far between now.

I didn’t know Jacob could sing lows. Ha. Would love to hear his lows now since he’s a way better vocalist now.

I saw an interview where he said he kept blowing out his voice as the person who taught him how to scream taught him incorrectly. I am assuming this is why he doesn't do it, but not 100% sure.

@@awood186 Technically, there is no "correct" or "wrong" technique - every technique is right. There is safety and unsafety way of extreme vocals. Jacob definitely had been doing it on vocal chords, which could blow your voice really fast.

Fuck if you only actually screamed compared to yelling. I fuck with the yelling but you actually have good lows homie. This could be the next underoath if you polish it right

Thornhill is one of the most talented bands of all time and 13 is their best album. Ironically, they started from the end. It's hard to be inspired by Viper Room even though it is a good track.
