My Dad slipped off the footpath at the top of the waterfall and fell down it, and survived though badly injured, on New years day 1976, I took him back there this new years day 2020, he's 80yrs old now. We still owe thanks to Cave rescue group that came to help and recover him on that freezing cold day, A time before all the mod cons of todays society, there was no safety rails at all on the footpaths then and the original path ran only 4 ft from the cliff edge, it had been snowing heavily that day too
