Thornton Lodge 

Located close to Hawes and Aysgarth Falls, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Thornton Lodge provides a peaceful haven amid fine period features and modern comforts. Set in 13 acres of grounds and pasture a short distance outside the hamlet of Thornton Rust and close to Salmon beats on the River Ure, this lovely old house offers a comfortable and welcoming escape from the bustle of todays hurried lifestyles.
Thornton Lodge is not your usual B&B - most of the ones around here are of the 3 guest bedroom type with owners sharing the communal space some of the time. Here we have two distinct parts of the house, the guest end being the entire space shown in our photograph and our domestic quarters being the self contained west wing, coach houses and walled garden.
