Those Burritos don't sound like a good idea mate - Brewstew School Lunch REACTION 

A lot of families are dependent on the school lunches for their kids here in the US. If a family is low enough income they can apply to get the school lunches for free until their 18

One of my favorite things I remember about school breakfasts/lunches were the breakfast pizzas. It was like a 4''-5'' rectangular piece of pizza that mainly consisted of a white cheese and bits of crumbled sausage. Was sooo good. I also remember in one of the schools I went to when I was younger, we had the "quite time" at the end of the lunch period. I don't remember why we did it but for like the last 5 or so minutes of lunch, they would turn off the lights in the lunch room and everyone had to just sit there quietly for 5 minutes until it was time to go back to class. And if you were caught talking, you had to go around and help clean up the trash. And in some places, depending on a family's income, they could sign up to get either reduced or free lunches. Basically, if you didn't bring your own lunch and ate something from the cafeteria, you had to pay for it. It was generally only a few dollars. But if you were from a family with lower income, you could sign up to get either half-priced or free lunches. Though that was only for the base/primary lunches served in the cafeteria. If your lunch room also had little extra concessions on the side, you had to pay for those regardless.

The School lunchs started in the U.S after one of the wars. Many military age men couldn't pass the requirements to enter boot camp. It was believed to be due to nutritional deficitcy and lack of proper calories. At least at school they would get a proper meal once a day 5 days a week.

I went to a private school, our lunches were pretty much the same as public school lunches.

The high school i went to this was only for the seniors and if you had a 5 or 4.0gpa you could leave for lunch. Also Thursday would be sloppy joes and Friday was pizza burgers ( it was just a Sloppy Joe with mozzarella cheese )

you talking at the end reminds me of your confusion about hamburger helper. i know its the wrong video but hamburger helper is basically something that you prepare and put a pound of cooked hamburger in to help it become a full meal. i mean you can do it without the burger but its meant to be used with the burger.

They would have taco salad at my high school. But it was frito pie with a little cup of Lettuce, tomato, and cheese. I had just moved there and missed breakfast so I was super hungry. I ate what I thought was a salad, looked around and noticed everyone dumping the lettuce, tomato, cheese mixture on the Frito and chili mixture. I felt like an idiot. Still tasty though. I like salads and I like Fritos in chili.

Bro my middle school had this lunch buffet every day and my go to ruins was cauliflower carrots and pizza if that does not sound appetizing I don’t know what does well other than Vegemite which by the way I’ve never had don’t roast me

I don't get the turning the lights off at the end of the lunch period thing either. That must have been peculiar to his school. I don't see the logic behind hit.
