Tom macdonald is a visionary... This video is one of Nova's top 3 shoots. And this song displays Tom's Undeniable talent. This is possibly the best video AND song they've ever made... The inner demon feeds off of Tom's Fears. But his confidence in himself is not a match for all the negative talk. Tom MacDonald REALLY IS the Best Rapper Ever. ❤

One of my favorites, can’t go wrong with any Tom song, don’t be afraid to do what you want. I relate to this so much, I don’t have to be good, and I always have that A-hole in the back of my mind …. I fight that voice with all my might, but people just test every bit of good in your body. But I guess that’s what it’s like to be a man now…. I stole a hat from my dad when I was younger and it has a definition for stress that I fully understood back then. Stress: the confusion created when one’s mind overrides the bodies basic desire to choke the living shoot out of some A-hole that desperately needs it…… No wonder so many are stressed…. There’s a lot of A-holes 😂 we don’t change the world though until we change ourselves. Looking forward to see what way the wind blows you next.

I feel like the choker symbolizes him locking his demons away, and it's symbol of control within certain communities.... basically means he is in control of his demons and he is keeping them locked away so they can't come back out

And to answer your question Tom used to be a pro wrestler in Canada before he made it as a rapper. I've heard that maintaining success is much harder than achieving that success in the first place. Along with that stress I assume Tom must also have a ton of other pressures being a independent artist who is a target for some many attacks online because of his social/political opinions. I'm sure his inner demons must have a field day with the BS idea that being an "anti-woke rapper" is the only reason for Tom's success. Sure, it's not true and Tom's extremely talented but that little idea must be excellent ammo for his self-doubt to attack him with. I love the Chorus where Tom confidently states "I'm the best rapper ever". On the surface it may sound conceited but it's clearly him fighting that self-doubt with positive confidence. My favorite song by Tom is called "Don't Look Down". This has a similar situation where the lyrics could be mistaken to be Tom bragging and being conceited but he's actually being very positive and confident about his goals of being a great artist. He has his eyes set on his prize and he's not diverting from that goal for anybody. It's such an inspiration and inspiring song, I really hope you do a reaction to that one soon. Near the end you commented how both good and bad Tom were now singing together. I never noticed that before and it's very interesting. My 2 cent take is: I wonder if Tom realized that both good and bad Tom are part of "TOM". He can't get rid of bad Tom so he's accepted it so he can now control it. I may be way off base but I like that idea of accepting who you are, both good and bad, and learning to control those to be the best you can be.
