"Famous" is another one that will give you some insight into Tom, it doesn't get the attention it deserves!

I love the fact that Asia caught exactly what Tom MacDonald did when she compared what he was doing and this song to what Eminem did at the end of 8 Mile against Papa Doc. If you put everything out on the table then you win because nobody has anything to say about you and every single song that Tom has put out in one way or another he has put all his cards on the table that's why Tom doesn't have anybody wanting to battle with him because they can't say anything about him because Tom already said it about himself. I mean how do you diss somebody who is already told you everything about themselves? Tom's already admitted he's corny, he's already shown you every single side of himself, he's literally said everything that he needs to say and if somebody tried to put out a diss track against Tom MacDonald then they would just be quoting verbatim what he's already put out about him so it wouldn't be a diss and the person trying to diss Tom already lost before they took a single breath on the diss track. That's what you have to admire about Tom and I think the reason why Mac Lethal even went after Tom was because of the song "Boom Bap 101" and boom bap is actually '90s style battle rap which is what Mac Lethal is known for and I believe that the back and forth between Tom and Mac Lethal was the eye opener that Tom needed and that's why he started putting stuff out about himself like what you heard on this track, what you heard on "No Response" when he talked about his struggles in life and starting with nothing, and tracks like "I'm Sorry" little by little Tom has been putting himself out there so there's nothing left to say about Tom and that's why nobody can diss him. That's why there hasn't been a battle like Mac Lethal versus Tom MacDonald since. It's psychology at this point.

When you try and accomplish things that you have only felt useless at in your life and begin to get ahead.... eventually the creative department in our brain will begin to start reminding you of your failures....it's extremely difficult bc the brain is used to your downs and anxieties of your failures....it attacks at your self belief. SOBER and ANGELS both give you a bigger picture of what Tom struggled/struggles with. Alot of his music has a little bit of information about him but, these 2 songs go in depth. It just doesn't seem fair that so many people have to go through such turmoil and pain. Then have to hit rock bottom before they die or manage to get help or wake up and get saved. I think mental illness, abuse and peer pressure are the biggest reasons people even head down these paths. I admire Tom for getting clean, sober and sharing such personal information with everyone. It has helped alot of people and that's very admirable as well. #HOG LIFE4EVER

I get multiple messages from this video, so I'll just talk about three. Number one, Tom gets sober like many people, and you think most if not all of your problems will go away. The truth is being sober gives you the ability to deal with your issues and become the person you truly want to be. Number 2, You struggle inside to be creative and at times doubt yourself. Then the dark side tells you to have a drink, take a pill, and together we will create better art. Tom tells us in the song to be strong and true to ourselves. Number 3, Tom and Nova may have just put out one of their top three videos. This song makes you want to flex because of Tom and Nova's lyrics and visuals.

Tom has more balls than 99% of artists when it comes to putting it all out there for everyone to see good or bad. So much respect.

The sad thing along with the most beautiful thing is how he empowers those with mental illness. I suffer from it after my time overseas, but he helps me not allow me to be one of the 22. God will reward this soul for helping those who are tormented.

hell ya! This song is pure fire!! Best Tom's hook. That hook makes you feel you can run through walls its so energizing. My favorite Tom song for sure. Think of this - he can write lyrics, sing, rap, play guitar now (some), he can act and perform, he can create his own sets, and his own beats. Then he goes and writes a song that is a battle and conversation with himself and can do this all via lyrics and rhyming scheme. It's freakin amazing. Some other popular examples of writing prose conversation but in flow and rhymes: Shakespeare, Edgar Alan Poe, Homer. I'm not saying I'm comparing Tom to Shakespeare - but it's worth at least considering how special that talent to it is.
