"තොටියාගේ මරණය", මගේ නවතම ගීත නිර්මාණය මා හට විශේෂ වන්නේ කරුණු දෙකක් හේතුවෙනි. මෙම ගීතය රචනා කරන්නෙ මාගේ පියාගේ මිතුරෙකු වන විතානගේ විජේසිංහ ඇදුරුතුමන් විසිනි. එකල ඔහු මාගේ පියා සඳහා අති විශිෂ්ට ගී පද රචනා කළ අයෙකි. අනිත් කාරණය නම් මෙහි වයලීන් වාදනය කරන්නේ මාගේ පුතා සචිත් විසින් වීමයි. පරම්පරා තුනක් මුසුවී සැදුනු මෙම නිර්මාණය ඔබගේ රසවින්දනය පිණිස මම ඉදිරිපත් කරමි.💖
"Thotiyage Maranaya", my latest song, which turns in as a special one as per two reasons.. it was written by "Mr.Withanage Wijesinghe", who's a great friend of my father (D.G. Suraweera) being the writer of many of the great songs he sung. The violin parts you've heard or will hear in this song, being played by my son, Sachith Suraweera. Hope you are entertained with this creation done in essence of three generations!💖
