Bronco looks cooler, has better interior, better tech, better driving dynamics, and better open air experience, and better specs. Pretty simple choice to me

Way to throw your friend under the bus. That's very ungrateful in my opinion. He saved you at least $800.00 on the installI. I installed my lift kit myself and made sure everything was torqued and done right. Stuff still came loose. That's why you're supposed to recheck your bolts after you put some miles on it. My advice is to put some loctite on your bolts and use a paint pen so you can do a quick visual check in the future. You especially want to blue loctite your jam nuts, they come loose all the time if you don't.
Loctite blue = keeps the nuts etc from slipping off or backing out. Loctite red = usually internal engine nuts, or when you never want the nut/bolt coming out. = Much harder to get off. =Sometimes you must break them off.
Ben, take your Jeep to a professional and have everything associated with the lift corrected/tightened and get a laser alignment. I used Diversified 4x4 in Toledo, Ohio for dialing in my 4” lift on my ‘15 JK. With an annual alignment, everything is great and way better than stock. New aftermarket front driveshaft with a double cardan joint, new front track bar, etc.
I own a 2020 JL, I also own a 1966 Bronco Roadster (U13). The Bronco is my daily driver. The only time I drive the jeep is when its raining. Ain't no doubt I will be purchasing the new Bronco in two years.
Jeep Wrangler is still the king until the Bronco comes out and challenges it I’m not kind of person that goes by other people’s opinions, we need a real test
I put down a reservation on the Base model Bronco. I'm thinking of getting the 2.7l auto with the Sasquatch package. We'll see when option pricing comes out if I go thru with it. I'm a little hesitant to get a first year though. 🤞it'll be okay. At least the powertrain has been out a few years though.

I’d say if all the sponsored parts I’ve paid for about 85% of them and the other 15% were discounted, so I do know what a money pit is haha. And I throw shade at Ryan because 1. He’s my brother in law, 2 if it’s not his project he doesn’t give a shit about it, and 3 he shows you guys in his videos the end result but cuts out all the corners he cuts. He’s not your boy wonder when it comes to installs haha and almost everything he films besides his new Tahoe has been sponsored as well. Real life > what you all see

As usual, Ben, thanks for sharing. The only thing I like about the Bronco is their orange color, if would have been able to get that tone of orange for my 2020 JL I would have been a very happy camper, instead I had to be content with the punk in' orange which is a tad too reddish for my taste.

Also in Ohio. Have you checked out Southington Off Road park? It's in Garretsville. And I've had 5 Wranglers and I'm seriously looking at the Bronco with the Sasquatch package. 35s with beadlocks from the factory and front and rear lockers etc etc.
I seen 3 of them going down i-275 l had to do a double take l thought it was a jeep renegade til l seen the bronco badge l thought they would be bigger wonder what the 35" wheels are gonna look like wanna see it done up. In person it looks different then video's for sure

You absolutely want that new Bronco. Everything important is already on it. Its going to feel like a hundred years newer in design and ride quality both on and off road. Its got quality goods strait from the factory! Don't get sucked in by a 392 for the Jeep. Its nice but you'll still be in that old platform. Jeep has its place but damn.... you saw that new Bronco. Its refined and ready to rock in pretty much every way. Don't under rate that 2.7 either. Its power will pleasantly surprise you! I imagine Ford may make a 5.0 version soon.... especially after reading all the positive comments from the reveal. I wouldn't worry so much about the 1st year model either. Get the bugs out? Ford has been working on this project for years. They started by asking 4wheelers what their biggest gripes were with off road vehicles. They've done their homework. Jeep has been great but they rested on their laurels and allowed the platform to become dated and antiquated. No more worrying about aftermarket parts problems with the new Bronco either. Its a complete package with optional goodies up the Ying yang! Get yourself what you want but folks are salivating over the new Bronco for a reason. Good luck!
I'm a proud 2019 JL Jeep owner. Bronco's ok, if you don't mind waiting for a year or more after you order it. By the time you get it better hope there is no issues .........I 'll stick with Jeep, its proven. Ford is not cheaper than Jeep, my 2019 Sport S 2 door with the Polar package and 3.6 with a 8 speed tranny was $33k . The Ford Bronco with all the same options ( heated seats, steering wheel, electric start) starts at $35k depending on engine. So I agree there will not be a big difference in price, other than its a Bronco. Ford , I've owned their pick ups in diesel, they are good trucks for $60-$70k.
The Bronco is sweet. It really is. Would I get one? Yes. Would I choose it over a Wrangler not so much. I’ve had a couple Fords and worked on plenty of Fords to have developed a bad taste from them. Not bad but vehicles, but just not good enough. Sexy AF but doesn’t make me regret my JLU one bit. Also, lol, throwing that shade at Ryan...driveway warranties will get ya every time no matter who is wrenching.

Jeeps are trash. I’ll likely take my Fiesta ST gnarlier places than this Jeep will ever see. Your description of inadequately installed parts really hurt my soul. Now I believe my Fiesta would be more reliable off-road too. I’m stopping this video before you get to the Bronco. I’ll bet my retirement that first year run bronco is more reliable than any JL chassis. If they don’t randomly shut off on the highway, it automatically gets my vote. And, XJ or bust...

Did the guy you had do the lift not tell you to bring it back in to get everything re torqued? Thats a must after installing a lift especially if you actually take it off road.
The Bronco is coming out with a V8 pickup version. I'm waiting on the 2nd model year also. I'm getting the Oxford white with white, light gray with orange trim interior. License plate will say "ornjuce" 🤣

If sales numbers of the Jeeps start going down FCA will do everything they can to keep those sales numbers up. Same thing happened to Ram wanting to outsell Chevy/GM 1/2 ton pick-ups and get that number #2 position behind Ford -which they did. Now it is Ram holding that #2 position while GM is doing everything they can to get #2 back. Ford even positioned a 3 vehicle series "Bronco" to against "Jeep"
Don't think Ram still has the #2 position, but I hear you, they will want to keep the crown jewels (Jeep) selling. Maybe their pricing will get better!
@@skywalker2852 You sort of saw this pricing with Ram vs Chevy/GMC pick-ups. Lots of deals there for awhile while Ford had little. Ford has some deals now also. 2019 GMCs were very cheap at the beginning of the year. Then Ram had lots of deals March-Now trying to beat Chevy. Chevy/GMC is behind on the interior, ride. and tech compared to the Ram. With the new 2021 Ford F150 they have mostly caught up with Ram. JD Power also had Ram as 1# in initial quality = I don't know if that is some sort of joke, but they got it.
Don't be like Ben here and jump ship just because of shiny new toy out there. There will always be something new, something more shiny and something better. But better in who's eye's. I'm happy with what i have.. When the Gladiator came out, there were four colors, now there are more, they just know how to market things.. I know Ben is saying there will be nothing but Bronco's everywhere. UUMMM, NO. Like the Gladiator not everyone is willing to shell out that kind of dough. Within a year the hype will slow down. I still see way way more other jeeps than the Gladiator.
I don’t think the bronco would make me get rid of my jeep. Shes a 2010 JKU (80K miles) and Ive done so much work to it, that its more personal then just a vehicle at this point. If i had the extra cash? Hell yeah I’d buy a bronco. But I think I’d rather just put a HEMI in the jeep and upgrade axles and call it a day lol

Sounds like you need a Bronco Sport bud. Getting wrangler killer because you don't offroad ever doesn't make much sense for you. Considering it would leave that Rubicon in the dust and you aren't evening using the Rubicon for what it was made for. The Bronco Sport is sweet. Take a look at it.
Keep your Jeep and then later on get a Bronco that way you have one for a back up, or switch if you get bored driving one you can drive the other. Different flavors add spice 😉👍

Just checked in and saw the new vid-why not take the Jeep somewhere known for Jeeps, get it sorted properly and enjoy it again? Seems like the passion and excitement for the channel and the JLU has faded. Maybe you’re just going through some stuff but hoping you find your way back to the fun and take this advice-“praise someone publicly, take them to the woodshed privately.” No reason to do that to family on your channel-just call him and ask him to help fix it or move on.
I like the 2 door Bronco.. but the this ford Bronco thing has a lot to proof if it wants to stay.. Sazuki samariai didn't, Toyota FJ cruiser didn't... if there's too many problems with the vehicle itself within 10 years.. it is as good as crap vehicle.
@@smcfall2 Literally everything about the new Bronco screams off-road. >5% of Wrangler Owners use the Solid Front Axle how it was meant to be used. IFS is the way to go for everything besides rock crawling and even then, Ford has done everything to mitigate those concerns. They are begging people to take this off-road.

Personally I don’t think and even to much about the brand new Ford Bronco. But definitely Jeep is way too superior and Bronco maybe might compete to other kind like FJ’s, Xterra, or even Tacoma. Jeep’s level is more 4Runner, Land Rover, Raptors and this last one it’s a Ford.
As a lifelong Ford owner, I can speak from experience. If you owned Fords, you would have learned valuable repair skills that would have enabled you to do your own Jeep work!! 🤣
Love the new Bronco, but I’m going to keep my FJ40 and get a good truck to tow it to the off-road areas here in New Mexico. It’s top speed is only 60mph! 😂
Look I’ve owned several power stroke work trucks and they aren’t high quality like everyone praises them to be. You really shouldn’t beat up on vehicles from just what you’ve heard on the internet because there are a lot of biased people out there. Honestly in my opinion most vehicles today sold new are garbage. They just don’t make them like they used to
