“We were ambushed that day. There was no way we could fight back. There was fire crashing down from everywhere, and all of the sirens invaded my head. So all my body could do was to run. I ran as fast as I could. I didn’t even know where I was going. I couldn’t even think about it; I just wanted to get out of there. I just wanted all of the noise to stop… … …But then it did. *And I lost everything…”*
ofc the person who made this masterpiece was the one who used all brain capacity to produce lario woods jesus christ how the hell does a mortal do this.
It's also nice that's it's more subtle than it is in the stage. It's definitely an important part of the track, but can be annoying to have it there at full blast when you're just listening.
I love those stanky rhythm guitars. Sounds exactly like those used on the gameboy advance for games like WarioWare or Mother 3, and makes this cover a bit grittier, which is nice! What also comes to mind is Porky means Business from Earthbound. In any case, really cool cover!
Perfect for when you are rushing across the lunar surface to launch a psychic artifact into infested remains of Earth while fighting eldritch crystalline-human monstrosities while a company of yokai bunny-people armed with modern weapons help you. Very nice.
I love how much sharper, for lack of a better word, this remix feels. And the frequent use of dulled or muffled instrumentals really conveys the feeling of being _deafened_ by a loud explosion, or simple panic. The quieter segment with the ticking as well as the genral use of more obvious sound effects also make it feel more intense. Whereas the original soundtrack had more bass and boom, like a constant hammer smashing down rarely and slowly, but still rattling you to your core, this is like a sensory overload of panic, hysteria, and terror. Especially with that stuttery scream at the start. Wonderful remix of a wonderful soundtrack.
YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAOOOOOOOWW!!!! THIS GOES HARD AS HELL! (thanks for directing me here! I saw the demo on tumblr a few minutes ago and it was _incredible._
thousand march is the song where you can listen to it while playing something like doom where even just walking around with a shotgun makes you a complete badass
Yes, it's a game called Pizza Tower where a broke-ass fat chef named Peppino Spaguetti able to run up to unrealistic levels of "fast" goes through the Pizza Tower to kill the big-bad Pizzaface. Why are the songs bangers? Mr Sauceman's built different.
