After a 2-year hiatus, the San Francisco Chinese New Year festival and parade brought tens of thousands to the city Saturday for a triumphant return from a pandemic depression. Max Darrow reports. (2-19-22)
Beautiful loving to watch this parade. I am the year of the tiger 1962 I'm enjoying this and I am a native San Franciscan God bless everyone and enjoy your good time
Many things have two names. It has been called the Chinese New Year's Parade in the media for decades, and it's written on the banners seen in this news clip. I'm sure they had the banners approved by some committee or permit dept.
@@wownewstome6123 the CCP and most chinese in america are CCP members..they gonna push for "Chinese New Year Parade"...other Asians call it Lunar New Year;
I wanted to go but online it said they were checking vaccinated status so I kept my money to myself. Lastly, the footage don't show huge crowds. I'm not sure why that lie is being promoted by the news.
