This is not an issue that Greece should be forced to face. This is an issue that the E.U., with help from the U.N. and leftist supported NGOs, CREATED and should be held accountable for the results, not the Greek people!
@@MrAckers75 They voted to leave in the no vote but, suprise suprise, the radical leftist government at the time didn't respect its own population and stayed in the union.
They stopped firefighters to go in, clearly it was self made to have an excuse to be let free to go to Germany and in the process have a new camp for the next ones
@@MichaEl-rh1kv "but they are not allowed to leave the island or to settle elsewhere". Which is the definition of an OPEN camp. They are technically free to roam the island. Or are you completely disregarding the locals who, you know, actually live there? And have to put up with the destruction wrecked on their island by this mob on a daily basis?
Many and almost simultaneous fires broke out inside and outside the Moria camp. The fires broke out at night, that is, at a time when they could not operate by air and at a time when strong winds were blowing, something that was known from the forecast of the National Meteorological Service. At approximately 23:00 on Tuesday night, a group of about 70 people set up barricades with burning bins on the road in front of the camp. When the first fire trucks arrived, there were organized groups of people who threw stones and wood at them to prevent the fire from being extinguished.

@Kathrin Kleinknecht Two other fiery fronts broke out at night in Lesvos. One front is near Xirolimni, on the old road Vatoussa - Skalochori. There is a second front, towards Antissa. All available firefighting vehicles from Kalloni have been activated, while forces are rushing from Mytilene. They are other fire fronts in mainland too!

@FREEDOM33 In view of these trends - trends which transcend party politics and the short-term fluctuations of changing government administrations, trends which show every promise of remaining unchanged in the years ahead, indeed, of becoming increasingly worse - there can be little room for debate as to whether the West will go under. It has already passed the point of no return in its descent. The water is up to our necks, and the only question is, when will it reach our noses. The ship, in other words, is going down, and it is going down not just because the captain doesn’t know how to sail and because there is a gang of saboteurs aboard who have opened the sea cocks, but also because it has become irreparably unseaworthy. Now, this is a very important conclusion. It separates the National Alliance from the right wingers, who believe there’s still time to save the ship (or, if there isn’t, all is lost and so there’s no point in doing anything); from the liberals, who believe that the more water the ship takes on the better it will sail; and from the mass of voters, who, although they have a dark suspicion that something is seriously wrong and a nagging fear that the captain doesn’t know what he’s doing, are much more concerned that their feet are getting wet than that the ship is going down. The most important distinction for the Alliance is the first one. The right wingers see the value of the West in its outward forms: its governments, its economic systems, its life-styles. When those are broken up - when the ship of state goes down - there is, for them, nothing left. But the National Alliance sees the value of the West in its biological essence, in the human genetic material which was responsible for the building of Western civilization - and which has the capability of building another civilization to replace it. When the ship goes down, there will be lots of passengers in the water, and they will drown. What is important is to make certain that some passengers - the right ones - are in lifeboats, with a compass, oars, and directions to the nearest land. Why the West Will Go Under by Dr. William L. Pierce

It is easy to scold and blame Greek government. Nobody can expect any country, however big to take care of tens of thousands of other people migrating and trying to get access to better life. The coin has 2 sides. If 1 person immigrates, no problem. If 10, 100 or 1000 people immigrate, probably no problem. But 10s of thousands. This is just one camp overflowing, how many more are there with another 10s of thousands. Is it Greece’s responsibility to take care of all the immigrants the same, as it is my responsibility to take care of all the homeless around my block...
some of them set the fire. The others are simply victims. You, on the other side, sound like one of the culprits. Moria could be have evacuated and closed years before, if the rich EU countries wouldn't have stalled. Instead Moria became a place of disrepute only short of being named a concentration camp. It's a real shame to Europe and to mankind.

Why not place them on a cruise ship liner. Most cruise ships are down due to covid, you can give them shelter, contain them, get them off the island and raise their standards of living. Cruise liner owner should charge the European Union and not put their ships to waste.
Because instead of burning it they will destroy it and then sink the bloody thing. So the government will have the added expense of salvaging the thing. Just kidding, good idea.🤣😂😅

you dont exactly need to be a genius to figure it out. they were unhappy with their free roofs over their heads and free food and free clean water so they set it on fire and prevented emergency services from reaching the fire, in hopes of being deported to another camp, hopefully in a different EU country, and not on an island, where they can disappear and stay illegally for many years. sadly, for all the people in that camp who didnt want to set it on fire, thats probably not whats going to happen. they'll just have no tents to sleep in on the same island.
