Have I ever bought a makeup advent calendar? No. Do I ever plan on buying a makeup advent calendar? No. Is Alexandria's end of year makeup advent calendar unboxing extravaganza my favorite time of year anyway? Yes. Yes it is.

I literally choked when you mentioned Sephora sending a recon team and then again when you said maybe they switched it up and added a single Bobby pin. 😂 I can’t wait for advent calendar season to begin 😃

My husband said you need to make a storage that looks like an advent calendar, for your advent calendars. So you can have an advent calendar advent calendar!

Warning about the Rituals one, you might need to convince someone else to put it together for you if you ordered the 3D version XD I haven't even put mine together yet but you can see what's in each 'box' when you're putting it together by the label at the bottom (that is covered once put together). So it'd probably more fun for you and aesthetically pretty, if someone else puts it together. Or put it together now and leave it till one of the last weeks so you've forgotten everything in it. It even has a strand of lights to tape down onto it to light up the 'village'. So it's very unique and actually genuinely a Christmas decoration.

I love advent calandar season! The real question"How bad is sephora's calandar this year"? If you want to mortgage your house, you could unbox these: Dior, YSL, Lancome, Clinique, Biotherm, Chanel.

Alex, have you thought about doing an advent calendar for the puppers? Costco has one and so does Petco, Chewy and Target. It might be something to look into to round out the 25 calendars needed

Ive watched these videos for the last 3 years and I finally have to say something. The 25 door boxes are advent calendars and are supposed to be opened in the lead up to Christmas. The 12 door boxes are the 12 days of Christmas boxes which is the 12 days AFTER Christmas that's why they are sold as Christmas gifts it means people have something to open every day after Christmas till jan 6th which is little Christmas and the last day of the holiday season. Similar to the song "The 12 days of Christmas"

I think i somehow found worse than the Sephora Advent calendar: the Chanel advent calendar is 700€ and you only get like 4 full size products, and a lot of accessories, including numerous STICKERS (yes)

Can't wait to watch this series! I LOVE Trader Joe's beauty, to be honest. Their body butters, lip balms, hand creams, soaps, facial oil, serums, etc. are all very nice. I'm still annoyed they discontinued the fennel toothpaste, as that was my absolute favorite of all time.
